its a magic train, in many video shots you'll see it go from 5 cars up to as many as 15-20. when its climbing up that tall pointy mountain peak before reaching the north pole, if you look closely you can see the train and train cars ' bending ' and curving ' to wrap around the mountain- as if they are distorting mass .
This is my number one favorite Christmas movie hands down. Why? Well, this was the first Christmas movie I saw in theaters back in 2004, and it was the first movie I got on DVD for Christmas in 2005.
this is still one of the best movies for Christmas ever made, its aged well too even though its nearly 20 years old now, the movie hits you harder as an adult vs when we were all like 8-12 years old or whatever age most of you were when it came out, as a young child we didn't think much of it, just a train taking some kids to go see santa, now as someone much older, the whole idea of believing in something really goes to your heart- the ending really pounds in those feels at one time most of my friends could hear the bell but as years passed it fell silent for all of them even Sarah found one Christmas that she could no longer hear its sweet sound though i've grown old, the bell still rings for me, as it does for all who truly believe

Just a little fact on steam locomotives in the scene where the engineer begins to move the train after the caribou crossing scene he pushes the throttle lever forward when in reality they should’ve animated him pulling the lever backwards to engage the throttle

I think this is a reference to how Doc decided to travel timelines in back to the future 3 and this is him finding a job in that timeline.

The 1225 on the ticket is the real engine number of the steam engine used. Pere marqueette 1225 . It is a berkshire class engine built by Lima.
It’s a whistle not a horn at 4:50 & 4:57 also, Doc isn’t on a train, he’s on a STEAM LOCOMOTIVE!
