I think what’s interesting about remakes like these is not that it shows how limiting Mario Maker is, but how much unique content was in the New Super Mario Bros. series that we forgot about.

NSMBWii was my first ever Mario game, and seeing an entire Super World dedicated to it makes me very happy. Also, we need the Penguin Suit from this game to become a powerup. Even if it's a mod it'll be worth it sorely for the ability to shoot iceballs and to hear that cute sound that plays whenever Mario walks with the PS on.
This Mario game wasn’t just my first mario, it was my first game ever! And i love it this game is so amazing i wanna play again

After seeing how fatigued the NSMB series has become by not changing very much, I feel like people enjoy NSMB themed levels in Mario Maker more than the actual games

Thanks for playing this super world, it's bring me many memories when I played this game with my sister. It's a shame that the creator couldn't recreate the last battle but it's understandable. Your skills are amazing, you never died in all gameplay.
When they make Mario Maker 3, I hope they add hidden passages and more themes. It'll be a blast.

Videos like these disappoint me because it shows how limited and restricting Mario Maker is... Nintendo should add more features and power-ups to it
Mario Maker just isn't made for remakes of other Games, it's made for you to create your own. The editor is made for making speedrun, autoscroll, music, troll, minigame levels, even traditional levels, but recreating something else won't work because of the flexibility of the editor.
No it doesn’t it’s not meant for remaking levels there’s plenty of things to use more would be good but what we have now is fine

@@IJC039 When you see that way, sure. But when you worked on huge projects, using Super Mario engines which allow you to create anything you want, you will understand what I mean. Mario Maker is extremely restricting even for the BASIC things like adding lava in an ice level, or only allowing ONE music option for each theme. It's frustrating.

they should replace star coins with key coins and if you collect all 3 of them, you will unlock a secret area at the end of the level.

ok, i know you do all in your hand but i saw many videos of people recreating the second phase of the bowsers battle, you can put in the first phase an P swith for bowser falls in the lava and see one of these videos for recreate that phase
If you didn’t know when you make a pipe level you can change background style and when you leave the bonus level it will go back to original styLe
I don't know if you were limited, but 1-4 has an ice flower, and not a fire one.
Edit: it seems that you were because as far as I've seen, the ice flower hasn't made an appearance
