I have a question if the DTMF ws transmitted thogh SIP IFO or RFC wouldnt it always transmit it as Inband at the same time as when you click DTMF it makes frequency and that will be transmitted with the RTP.
How to identify which number is sent as DTMF for INBAND In wireshark ?, for RFC 2833 & SIP INFO we can actually see the number. In-band we need to recognize tones ?...how to recognize "?
Hi There, the wireshark could not recoginze the inband DTMF directly. Firstly output the audio followed by this article: support.yeastar.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038351294 Then follow this article to check the DTMF wave: support.yeastar.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038790193
@@YeastarTechnicalChannel I have extracted the audio file and i can see u are using a tool to analyse the audio, what tool is it ? and where can i download it ?.
@@ainbanathanaustin Well, u can use Adobe Audition or Cool Edit to analyse the audio. cool-edit-pro.soft32.com/ www.adobe.com/products/audition/free-trial-download.html
This part is not the DTMF we talk here. For SIP calls, it usually takes the called number in the request- line of the INVITE packet. For example, INVITE: XXX@1.1.1.11. Here is the number you dialed. To analyze the INVITE packet, try to refer to this video: ruclips.net/video/Fyfj8prAqrU/видео.html
Thanks, now i can understand, best regards.
really well done, well explained video mate
