This past Christmas I had the great opportunity to have a new shop built. I watched many videos on RUclips and ran across one about first aid kits in a wood shop. Tip No. 51: Create a first aid kit, attach it to the wall nearest the door just above the fire extinguisher. It will always be in that place. Fortunately, I have had to only use it to remove splinters with the ingrown hair tweezers that I added.
Great tip Clifton, I wish I would have thought about that. I'll pin your comment to the top and hopefully people will read it. Excellent comment. Thank you.
Thank you Pinta Crafts. I was a machinist for 25 years ant thats how we always folded the blades. It work on big and small blades. Thanks for watching! 👍
Thanks Cole. I'm glad you got something out of this. Some were pretty lame. It was harder than I thought to come up with 50. Lol. Thanks for watching and commenting. And of course, your continued support 👍
I made it.... Just picked up two more of the HF magnet parts holder dishes as they were on sale. I know I have 4 in my wood shop and two in the other shop and plus the two more now and still think I should get a few more, lol. Great tips though!!
This is an awesome list! I can only imagine how long it took to plan and execute this list. Definately learned a few nifty ones as well, esp the bandsaw blade one. That was simply some ninja action!
Lol Suman, thanks so much. It was kind of fun. I started a list a few weeks ago and just kept adding to it. I learned the bandsaw blade trick many years ago as a machinist. It works on large and small blades. Thanks for watching! 👍
"I made it, Mike." You mentioned several tips that are going to be helpful to me in my shop. I sure would like to see that 'bending the band saw blade' tip in SUPER slow motion. I couldn't quite follow it. Also, I'm going to look for some of that 'clotting stuff'. I'm on blood thinners and I often need help to stop bleeding. Thanks for the video.
Thanks Eddie, I got the "quick clot pad on Amazon. Glad you stuck around until the end. Thats awesome. Thanks for watching and your continued support my friend. 👍
Thanks Dany, it was harder than I thought coming up with 50. I've been jotting down a list for a few weeks. Thanks for watching and commenting. And of course, your continued support .
@@Woodcraft716 Mike I am not surprised - all these items are something you do not think about but do in workshop but to put it all together takes concentration:) Be well!
Nice refresher tips, although I picked up a couple new ones so thank you. The way you folded your bandsaw blade using a backer was my biggest takeaway. I’m going to try that out next time I change my blade! Thanks again!
Thanks Brent. I was s machinist for 25 years and thats how we always folded the blades. It works on huge 10ft blades as well. Thanks for watching and commenting. 👍
Thanks so much San Marcis Makes. I'm glad you stayed around until the end. Thats awesome! I'm glad you found this helpful. Thanks for commenting as well. 👍
Thank you Married Man, it was harder than I thought, coming up with 50 tips. Some good, some not so good. But got all 50 done. Thanks for watching and commenting. And of course, your continued support 👍
Made it... knew most but I still forget to use some... like the rubber band over the paint can... have a great weekend Bud Edit: 51 use a pencil over the wood before sanding to get even sanding over the surface.
I made it..but not without the wife yelling “I don’t want to listen to your game!” To which I replied “what game?” Wife “the one with all the dinging!”
Thanks Nolan. Sorry, the digging was a little loud. Didn't seem bad when I was editing, but came out a bit loud. Thanks for sticking around until the end. 👍
