But I think I would personally use sauce instead of juice, I prefer the flavors from sauce (like the spices and herbs and such) rather than the straight tomato flavor of the juice. And I'd probably use parsley over basil (again, personal preference), and I'd add minced garlic. That Hello Kitty cheese cube looked super adorable.

i made this and it was sooo good ! i didnt have any fresh basil so i used dried, and i also put some minced garlic. i also used tomato sauce instead, and i topped it off w some grated mozzarella, parm and homemade pizza seasoning. when i mixed the ramen altogether, it became so thick and rich, it was delicious

I tried this yesterday and it's actually pretty good. Just remember to also add the flavourin powder from the ramen. It tastes like spiced spaguetthi, and it's cheap, fast and easy. And also it was the first time I was able to cook without setting something on fire, which is also quite pleasant.

They'll often have pocky and whatnot, but even western grocery stores have that these days. I currently live in a place where to get this kind of ramen, if I were in a rush, and taking my motorcycle instead of my car, I could shave the travel time down to 1 hour, one way.

Instant noodle must be cooked in cup with no much hot water, italian PASTA must be cooked for few minutes in boiling water and served and eat dried by it... Use your favorite sauce combination but what you suggested is terrible, but is a my opinion only... I eating pasta or noodle, fresh or instant, without problem, but I never mixed the recipes...

I agree with you on the basilikum part, but you can cook noodles like that too, on some packages it even tells you in the instructions to do it like that... Also, it shouldn't matter that much, in the end it will end up pretty much the same, maybe even with more flavour since it's cooked into the noodles... Also, it's Italian RAMEN, not pasta, that's probably why she used ramen instead. I don't even know what tomato juice tastes like, so I can't judge.
Trust me, here in Italy i've never seen italian ramen the only ramen we know is the instant one classic or the one made with soya but some people use for japanese dishes. Is really different from the pasta, starting to smell, ingredients, time of cook, because pasta need 15 minutes after the water boiled and ramen 2 or 3 minutes..and many other things. The tomato juice in Italy is really used and isn't that bad, the price is less than the sauce but taste similar is good for make pizza and pasta in a really fast way

Venus I saw you do this recipe two years ago and this has been my go to ramen hack at college! Except I do it the super ghetto way and just take a can of V8 tomato juice and boil a kimchee bowl ramen in it! And then add frozen meatballs like spaghetti. Also can't forget cheese. I made it in the microwave at college one day and my friend taught I was crazy until he tried it and was mind blown!!! Thanks for the awesome recipe :3

To everyone bitching about the title being "Italian Pizza Ramen" instead of "Italian Pizza Pasta": Ramen is NOT just the Japanese word for noodles, it is a specific dish, and thus it is not the same as just pasta. It could have said "Italian Pizza Japanese Noodle Soup Dish" but that would have been the most unnecessary use of words ever.

Venus I saw you do this recipe two years ago and this has been my go to ramen hack at college! Except I do it the super ghetto way and just take a can of V8 tomato juice and boil a kimchee bowl ramen in it! And then add frozen meatballs like spaghetti. Also can't forget cheese. I made it in the microwave at college one day and my friend taught I was crazy until he tried it and was mind blown!!! Thanks for the awesome recipe :3
