I just ordered one thinking it was steel. The ad said steel finish. I had no idea it was plastic.?? The ad never mentioned that. I also ordered a Colt Detective Special from Tanaka. OMG I hope that is not plastic. Paid over $900 for both.

The Tanakas cylinder is metal but the frame is still plastic but has incredible finish. The marui is a decent painted finish . The heavy weight is code name for metal weights depersed through the guns frame. Don't be turned off from it being plastic. The intermal frames Skelton are metal and the internals are metal. But yes they are definitely not steel

I already have a Tanaka S&W model 15 but one rare revolver is not enough. Unfortunately these are sold out everywhere

And it says " e pluribus unum" which means out of many, one.

Got a King arms peacemaker coming in a few days hopefully. Getting it two toned, since it's my first time owning something like this. Not sure how good it is, but the whole reason I got it is for the shell ejecting. Also planning on getting a double bell winchester for the same reason. God I hate living in the uk for this type of stuff.

I's alright for practise, loading, decoration and such. Not the best out there but it'll do the job you want it to if you like the Colt SAA. Strong too, works best for point blank shooting. Main issue is the whole green gas thing. It'll tell you to keep it at an angle and not straight. Though I have difficulty with how it's suppose to go in. Turns out green gas can freeze it really quickly. But hey, you might have steadier hands than I do. @@User-63712

@@User-63712 They're decent, strong but only good for close range. The main issue you might have is the green gas injection due to the fact it has to be at an angle. I have shaky hands so I'm not the most stable. I got it because it was available, cheaper than others, and just because I enjoy being able to eject the casing.
The Tanaka is more than double what I paid for the King Arms. And to me it didn't really seem like a good fit for me personally.
(Apparently my last reply to you didn't go through so here's a completely different one with the same energy as the first one.)

We can buy from overseas and hopefully make it through US customs, I have never had issues but people in some states have had issues passing custumns

Sorry but there is no 1871 Peacemaker. Colt patented the SAA in 1872 and released for sale in 1873.

Tanaka, Umarex, ASG, Black Ops and many many others are complete idiots that don't know history. Who gave them the right to replicate anything?

@@Dickens75 Congratulations, I was thinking of buying it but it was too much money for me, and I think it's the last one, they could only be brought from Japan, and it's difficult to import, at least from my country.
I'm glad to know that there are people who like the same as me.
      Congratulations again.
