Yes, and at the age of 10, in the summer of 2024, Jake played before 30,000 people at the Carfest, with the RPJ Band (featuring the son of one of the founders of Status Quo) and what is amazing, beyond his playing, is his confidence in front of the audience. His Dad is a gem, recognizing his son's talent and helping him along the way. Once Jake moves from covers to originals, he will be a monster! His command of fretwork at the age of only eight is truly astounding.
So refreshing seeing a young man teaching his old dad how to play guitar, and letting him tag along to a gig. So many kids today don‘t think their parents are cool enough to hang out with them.😊
I’ve been watching his videos where he’s playing at home and I’m blown away by this boy! He’ll have no trouble getting into a band when he gets older. His natural talent is incredible!

Just stumbled onto this after I’ve seen his 10 year old video when RPJ gets him on stage and he plays sweet child of mine - and it was flawless! So this is at 8 years old and he’s doing this so I’m going to assume this kid must have been 4 or 5 years old when the guitar lands in his hand? Unbelievable how great this young kid is - very very impressive!!!!

I have been playing for 55 years and this just blew me away. A true natural talent. Joe Bonamasa started at that age.
