About War Thunder's x-ray feature, it even tells you armor effectiveness based on angles when you hover your mouse over it and even tells you what it's made of.
It dosnt matter in wt because the Volumetric and ballistics are horrible plus the bias

On the subject of missing military vehicles, a couple of years ago here in Louisiana, a couple of college kids exploring Kisatchie National Forest uncovered a M2 Stuart light tank that had been lost since the Louisiana Maneuvers in the 1930s.

@@hurricaneace143 It happens. They find a tank over in europe every year. Usually they're found in lakes and rivers. They also get to deal with unexploded ordinance quite frequently. Hell they still find live cannonballs from the civil war.
@@m2hmghb Yep. Another instance was when they were doing some dredging around Shreveport and Bossier City, they found at least four Confederate Hunley-class subs that had been scuttled to block the Union from going any further up the Red River.

The six missing nukes are a bit more important than a 210,000lb tank that never saw action. Especially since we have the ability to "sniff" those nukes now, and they're still missing...
Dave, make your own video on those. React videos are sometimes entertaining, but you just got handed a golden platter of content. Do some searching and put out your own video on the broken arrows.

I laughed at the ending of the video till the 6 missing nukes clicked in my head. Now im curious...and concerned.
We know where they are. We just haven't recovered them because of how dangerous and difficult it would be. The explosives won't work so there's no reason. You should be worried about how many are in the soviet test areas - they had a LOT of fizzles and duds.

The doom turtle is the prime example of when you needed a new engine. Currently our main battle tank is the M1 Abram’s. One thing that sets it apart from all other current main battle tanks is that it doesn’t run on a diesel engine. It’s powered by a jet turbine. Iirc it’s the same engine that powers our Black Hawk helicopters. That is why despite its weight it is so fast.
The Doom Turtle really needed something more like what powered our B-17 or P-51 mustangs. It they had dropped that size of an engine in it, it would have been much faster.
I can only hope they were planning to replace the engine and were just using this one because it logistical easy to get and work on and had it been put into actual combat it would be swapped out.
The T28 was the product of american engineers being told that the Sig freed line can not be breeched by tanks and America going watch me
The sherman M-51 is a personal fav. Same for the E-50M/ VK1602
as a t28 main in Warthunder I can tell you, slow and steady is the way people 💪

To me it would be like losing a colored pencil in a kindergarten class room you set a bomb off in. Beside all the other debris you hVe a bunch of crayons everywhere so that pencil while It may be distinct will still blend in.
yep, tons of combat equipment gets abandoned in the field and never recovered, this one however never left the US.

YEAHHH THE FUCKIN DOOM TURTLE! It's insane what American engineers were thinking with this thing, it's insane. I'm surprised it was ever actually able to move.
Edit: Oh yeah, the War Thunder X-Ray is absolutely insane. It doesn't include *everything* of course, but it does include detailed models of engines, breeches, transmissions, radio sets, and more important items in the vehicle. I would recommend the game, because it is good, but it's so grindy and takes forever. Still an enjoyable experience!
