Nick great job showing everything on a car in The Underneath people should be glad there are people like you guys out there doing this you tell everything about the car and you don't hide nothing great job and all the cars keep up the good work hope you guys stay there for a long long time I watch the walk around every Monday until I find the right one I want love all the cars
The underside of the door was solid, and so is the rest of the car... Nicely built 350 too! Like Nick said, put in a set of aftermarket guages and you're good. And a tach; I've used a tachometer as a speedometer before. As for the paint, well it doesn't have to be expensive to look good... there are options!
That's what happens to an old laquer finish after alot of years it cracks needs a bare metal stripe and refinish but looks solid driveable as is enjoy a winter redo
Now you know there's going to be people on here saying that the paint job is going to cost 35k and that this is a bondo bucket. Damn sand this baby down set it in flat black primer, (fix the rear main seal.) Easy fix. Love the cream and red paint scheme. Or the paint really is that old and it used to be white 😂
That really IS a fairly clean machine, I ilke it! But dealing with that paint is gonna be rough (and expensive). In order to repaint it, it pretty much has to go down to bare metal first because of the cracks. But it's a '55, it's worth it
Every stick shift is different? How long you been driving sticks? There is no way this car should be on the road! You want $31,500 for it? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I am surprised that the '72 Satellite has not been scooped up....looks like a GREAT car!

Come on Nick!! It's a 55 with a 55' paint job😂. It sounds great and I love the 55 out of the 3 shoebox chevys!!

Can't go wrong with a red and white 55 🤜🤛
On that undercarriage section......any musician would notice the nice tempo that was making. Almost perfectly rhythmic.
Needs some love and wheels.👍
It's a beautiful 55 needs work but I love it....👍🏽👋🏽🙂💯💯
How do you get so many cars with bad horns😢

O yeah I know , people overpay on paint nowadays thats for sure
Beautiful car but nothing works
If you look at the steering column you will see that the manual shifting is factory stock. You are right about the rims though!
Solid car, not a bondo rust bucket that i see. Every chip had some rust along with the crack. She needs some love! Awesome car
Guys it a 55 Belair at a fair price. Sure it needs a paint job but they asking a price knowing that… stop hating on them.
And wheels
Keep up the good videos Nick we appreciate the details no matter what other people think thanks again.

@@ericl7416 It wasn't. Shoebox Chevys are getting rare; nowadays, you do whatever you can to restore them
@@ericl7416 Yes---that has how much the market has gone up in just a few years
@@ericl7416 Nope, Novas aren't as rare or as collectable right now as '55/'57 Chevys are
A little work and TLC that car would be a boss!
If you get a 65 impala ss. Id buy it for my dad. Baby blue with the old playboy hub caps.
I hate when people put manual transmissions in tri-fives. Also, the rims are terrible.
Both rims and tires
This car is sweet, I guess the horn will work💪 sounds good too
Nice, ride for the fortunate few
