Update: I have since had to whitelist my SiMidge.exe in Windows Defender because otherwise it all of a sudden thinks its a virus and automatically removes it. Its not a virus, and must be due to a Windows update or something. Here' s how to whitelist with Windows Defender: 1. Open Windows Defender 2. Select Virus & threat protection 3. Open Virus & threat protection settings 4. Scroll down and select Add or remove exclusions under the Exclusions section 5. Click on Add an exclusion and select file or folder you want to exclude (navigate to where you installed SiMidge and select the exe)
It was very sad, Mootilda passed back in November of 2013 from cancer. Those of us who knew her on MTS were devastated. We had no idea until a news post that she was even sick. Along with 'Smidge', William from Pick n Mix also has his own version of the Hack Conflict Checker. A few other tools are Home Crafter for making walls, floors and terrain. Wardrobe Wrangler and the Collection Creator by DJS sims, the same people who make the Compressorizer- and that website is back up.

I actually want to quick dip TS series because I finished quick dipping TS1 Complete Collection yesterday and couldn't wait to move to TS2 and replay TS3 (I love-hate TS3 because it's buggy mess especially with my last WA save file that went corrupt). I played the TS1 base game only like a lot in 15 years ago so it was fun to try its full content until Makin' Magic. The Sims series is actually memorable for me so I can't wait to fully enjoy TS2 because this is actually the one that I didn't really play much. Sorry for this long comment haha :')

Something I might add in case anyone runs into it: if your sims' names suddenly change into something unrecognizable, perhaps in another language, check SimPE preferences, default settings, to make sure the language is set properly for you. For players who use English, it may be English (U.S.) There's another English option but it doesn't seem to work properly. It's disconcerting to logon and see all the names changed. Thanks for taking the time to compile these and show how some of them work! I had never heard of the SiMIdge before! T&A I think was the 'Tits and Ass' Unofficial EP (Adult-themed-mods) by Chris Hatch - so if you don't have Chris Hatch EPs you won't need the T&A version of SimPe.
@@BellaDovah I haven't totally dove into the world of CC yet, but I do use ACR, all of the anti-corruption mods in PleasantSim's blog, FFS Debugger, Hacked Computer, Quiet Pregnancy, Sim Blender, Social Welfare, and a few other mods to enhance the gameplay. I'm just getting back into S2, and obviously very new to modding it. I'm so happy there are videos like this to help us newbies!

I tried SiMidge, but i wonder how it works with CC. I scanned my CC folder and it showed one conflict. Otherwise it always showed 0 results. But does that mean my CC is completely fine or does SiMidge not recognize broken CC? If so, is there a way to find broken CC besides the 50/50 method?
my new neighborhood is finally put together and now that I feel finished and start moving in sims, pink soup happens. no matter what I do, I make it worse :(… it may be time to switch to sims 3

Perhaps you need more Graphics Rules Maker tweaks, or the 4GB Patch or to set up emptying your standby memory or perhaps RPC could help things or tweaking some settings within it if you’re already using it, check it out

as far as I know there’s no tool that can detect broken cc because cc can be broken for several different reasons
