Keep these coming! It's so refreshing to see Starcraft played with in this way. Would love to see another Tasteless Lan Party too.
Watching a unit like raven being more useful and almost pivotal against a threat like fast shuttle reaver is such a refreshing viewer experience as someone that enjoys both SC1 and SC2 content

That first ace match, Solar pulled a

God, Reavers are insane in SC2.
Imagine having Disruptors with:
Faster attack rate.
Shots move faster.
Shots explode upon contact with its target, instead of a timer.
Shots don’t disappear when the unit is killed.
Takes up less space in a transport.
Can be upgraded to do more damage and carry more shots.
Deals 100 dmg (125 upgraded) vs disruptor 145 + 55 shield dmg. The AOE is smaller. It also spends minerals every shot. It's also stunned for a bit after exiting the shuttle. It's also incredibly slow which means it's 100% reliant on a shuttle to function.
Besides those things, it's better yeah.
@@TheRealXartaX Reavers still used for defense at expansions vs Zerg in late game, even w/o shuttles.

@@TheRealXartaX bw make production in important expo. so its not rare to see robos in expo in ultra late pvz
@@goodlearnerbadstudent756 In SC2 if you have to wait for both the building and the production of the unit before you even have a single reaver your expo is probably already dead.
Doesn't mean you can't add more robos, but obviously you're going to ship reavers around with shuttles. Not just build robo everywhere.
I do think the reaver is a way better unit than the disruptor in general, but no point pretending it doesn't have trade offs.
A cool collab would be Tastless + Day[9], hasn't been done A TON and of course people would love two of the greatest e-sports personalities. Bring Artosis in too
And RIP InControL, always the perfect addition into the mix
That last TvT was one of the best SC games I've watched, along with the mass ghosts too
BW ghosts are very strong vs terran and protoss in SC2 engine.

Flash is a pariah for now when it comes to actual Pro-Play because of a Crypto scam he tried to get a bunch of people involved in, so probably not going to happen.
Bisu would be cool, though.

Haha when you talked about the player chaperone/coach i remembered at mlg providence marinekingprime had a super overbearing chaperone with him. DRG and a bunch of the Korean players were getting food in the mall attached to the venue and sat with us cause we recognized him and then he got the other Korean players who had come then to eat with us. Drg told us and then helped translate stories of why they all wanted to crush naniwa lol. Mkp's chaperone didn't really let him talk with the rest of them. He had a sick lower bracket run from open quals though so i guess it kept him focused.
Irradiating medevacs seems like a wonderfully naughty thing to do.

This is awesome! The only thing that I can imagine that would be better would be a full mod of sc2 within sc1s engine. Not possible with a eud I think though would need to be a fully modded version of the game. Someone make it happen!

Also, Tasteless, just so you know, there Bill and Ted is a trilogy. There was Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey which is pretty meh, and Bill and Ted Face the Music which was actually released in 2020 and not bad. You should check it out.
I enjoyed all the games but so many felt very one sided, it's fitting that the most exciting game was the final ace match! Very well played by the winner.

2:10:00 there are more tech for BW protoss to go for aka Arbiter which is one of the best spell caster units in BW.
So far I've just been seeing Zerg lose to Toss... I think to say it's only "OP" when it's in Serral's hand 😂
Also, for the Warcraft vs. Sc2, it's actually possible since we have the coop mode, which has Heroes as well 😉

B for Blowy uppys is funny. I planned on using E for exploding units like the Banelings, but I guess I could use the key B too for units that explode. Maybe the S key for stopper (lockdown or maelstrom)? I was using D for disable in SC1, but do you think S for stopper might be better for SC 1 or SC2?

lol who did the math for SC1 unit damage? They like 1 shot everything and are super tanky.
the best thing in this tournament is we have less cheese and all-in and the game last so much longer than present sc2 because mineral and gas last longer which they robbed it from sc2

easy balance for the reaver i think would be makin scarabs more expensive and making them move like 15 to 20% slower

What if they combined the units and buildings from SC1 and SC2 into the races. The Tech Tree would be something like, as an example, Protoss would have two types of Gateways that build their own respective units, and either SC1 or SC2's Cybernetics Core will unlock both SC1 and SC2's Robo. Then every race will have the respective tools to counter whatever that might seem unanswerable.

BW has a notable disavantaje, maybe a few balance

At first glance, the units from sc1 are much weaker. Some kind of balance is needed, it is also quite likely that the players still do not quite understand how to play such confrontations.

SC1 Zerg seems to not have anything special going for it.
Protoss has Reavers with Dark Archons and High Templar.
Terran has Vultures and Tanks
Zerg though? Without the Muta micro and Lurker hold positions (both unintended bugs btw) seems to be inferior to SC2 in every conceivable way. (except in sounds, quotes and music)
Dark swarm is the most powerful spell in the game, with perhaps the exception of mind control, because it can give you dark swarm.

As you can see from the other replays uploaded to RUclips, the sc1 zergs in this mod are not weak, as Queen and Defiler's spells are very powerful.
You will be very surprised to see Queen's Broodling spell destroy the tanks, followed by Adrenaline Zerglings and Hydras.
Dark swarm is decent in BW because of patching. I'm SC2 you just move and attack elsewhere. Defilers have very low energy compared to Science vessels and High Templars
