What a difference an instrumental and a change in vocals make. Completely changes the tone of the song and makes the hit starting at “Fuck this city” just hurt that much more. And the entire second verse being changed from a rap, with this braggadocios feel, to a sung section, with a somber and downright depressing feel. And the verse just keeps ramping up and up and you can **feel** just how sad and angry it is. There’s probably not much else I can say that people haven’t said already, but god damn….what a fucking track.
