Can I get a side by side view of those cheap lens and these ones?
As a miniaturists, scale modeler, antomoligist and enthusiast of all things very tiny a macro lense is always important to me along with flanking lights around the lense. On my smartphone, the macro function starts taking satisfactory macro images when the LED light is on. If I get a macro lense for my phone it must have its own flanking watch battery powered LEDs built into the lense, otherwise it will be very difficult to impossible to take reasonable macro shots. Sadly, Smart phone macro lense makers have not caught onto this critical feature so all smartphone lmacro enses are pretty useless.

A question, me and my wife, we have Iphone 11 Pro Max, and Samsung S21 5G Ultra. So we're aiming on getting a Gimbal, But yeah, they have a case, and if you add a lense to it. Which Gimbal will support that setup? Since I saw there's some huge weight restrictions on these mobile gimbals for phones.
Secondly, this Mobile 4 with a magnet, I'm terrified a bit of wind will blow it off, how strong is that magnet actually? It needs to be sticked to the phone permanently?
I find it hard to make a choice tbh.
The magnets are super strong thats no problem. But a big phone with a case and lenses will be too heavy for a smartphone gimbal.. you will have to look into dslr gimbals
Which one would you suggest for inproving clarity for deep zoom of objects? Suppose i am doing a mountain photography and i want to zoom at the leak fl the mountain?

unfortunately they don't but you do get a circular polarizer with the anamorphic lens
which one would you recommend for a concert? i’m sitting far away from the stage so i want one that will help reduce the blur when zooming in
a telephoto
I would like to know how these compare to Xenvos lenses, SV Assets has a similar Beginner Kit to that of the Xenvo kit, both include wide angle and macro lenses. I have read about the Xenvo lenses having some warping on the far sides of shots, does SV Assets' lens have that problem? Also, I am assuming you are using their Pro Series V2 lenses, correct?
Unfortunately I don't have those. The SVAssets one are really high quality, thats why I use them. They don't have any distorting issues.

Sure I read them. Well you probably can‘t get very close so you need a tele lens. I don‘t know if there are lenses oht there closer than 65mm

I don't know where I got mine but I have used them and they've proven their point. Besides, feels like most "Add on lenses" seem to favor the iphone? Idk how it is now but I remember back then, I couldn't find anything for an Android phone...
I tried the phone lenses but the photos came all blurry and had to return them. I prefer Shuttermoon lenses because they are sharper and clearer than Sandmarc. They are same quality with Moment lens which is why I kept the Shuttermoon lenses and returned the Moment because the price difference is huge.

What' the best lens here to reduce the glaring issues and those terrible light dots artefacts that plague smartphone cameras? Does the telephoto do a good job with that?
I guess there's no lens that helps with that, maybe something like a sun cap to get rid of sun hitting the sensor

Can you show the results of the telephoto lens? I saw it mounted with guy holding his phone, the importance of a good quality lens, but never any results of the SV assets lens.

Better how? They are different. The 20 ultra has a built in camera and lens and that‘s an add on you put above the lens. It helps you to create different views and enhance the lenses you already have. Hope this helps :)

hi, i need help how to clean a phone camera lens from inside. i was cooking, and there was hot steam while im on the phone talking. the next day. i noticed something that look like foggy but it become stains. how do I clean this stains off the cameras lens.

Do you use the native iPhone app or a 3rd party. I have the shift cam photographer lenses and can’t seem to figure out what I’m doing wrong. I have 18mm wide angle and 60mm telephoto. I can’t zoom all the way out on either lenses past 2x with native app. I’m using a iPhone 12Pro. I don’t here a lot of people talking about how to use them.

@@smartphonefilmmakingpro I can only adjust each lenses from 1x to 2x any higher or lower it switches to another camera lens. Are you selecting what lens you want to use in the native app like you do with filmic pro?
I have Shiftcam and when I use the regular camera app on my phone, it shows the lens (black) on the camera display covering majority of the view. Have you figured out what works with Shiftcam lens?
Plus the lenses can add lens flare which i love

Dumb questions but
I have my phone, and a 50mm lens mount
1 - If I get a 50mm ND filter, I can place that anywhere over the phones lenses right?
2 - If I get a 50mm manual focus Lens, Will that work over a 16mm 24mm and 70mm camera lens,
3 - will a 50mm lens need to be lined up with each camera lens to work or will it work slightly off centre, i assume it has to be lined up perfectly.
4 - will the F of the lens, have to be the same as the F of the phones camera lens.
Eg a F2.4 50mm lens will only work if the phone camera lens is also F2.4 even though its a 24mm F2.4?

What lense would you suggest using to film & take photos of a school program or a Worlds robotics competition with a Galaxy S9 Plus?
I'm wanting to try to get good pics & video no matter where I end up sitting...without having to spend $700 or more on a better camera or even having to lug around my big camera bag & 2 lenses. Lol Its kind of a pain in the @$$ these days.
I guess you cannot get there super close - so probably a tele. Just depends on whats limiting you right now

I can usually sit closer but there's times when it just happens that I end up having to sit back a ways for a bit.
I normally just use my cellphone but it doesn't show faces clearly...you can tell who's who but not too detailed.
Our team is going to Worlds for robotics in a few weeks. It's a pretty big deal & im just wanting to take good pics (& video) w/out having to tote my camera bag around all day for photos & use cell for video. I like being able to take the pics w/my phone while I'm taking video...if that long comment makes sense. Lol😬

I bought a smartphone add on lens last 2017 and now it still work as brand new the worst thing is it is not compatible in iPhone series but it works well in my previous phone Samsung galaxy J7 2016.
Why is it not compatible?
Before I’ve used the lens brand AiKe global AK-110H aspheric on my Samsung J7 2016 and the photo is sharp and the lens softness (Spherical aberration) on the edge of the photo is less or negligible but in my iPhone 7 the center was sharp but on the edge chromatic aberration and Spherical Aberration are present just like taking a photo of a tree and the edges become fuzzy.

I got a wide angle lense for $5 at some place called retail rebel where its just over stocked or returned items from different stores (amazon, target, best buy, walmart, etc.) Its not bad, im sure theres better but it looks and feels good and serves its purpose
Also about retail rebel i love the pricing stuff, it goes
Saturday every item is $10 since they just got restocked (you can legit find apple products if your lucky, phones and watches and such!) Then sunday $5, and all the way down to Friday where each item is 50¢, thats 20 random items of your choice, valuble or not, for $10 total, we found some joycons and stuff there too! I think we saved around $200 over the few times we shopped there by buying stuff cheaper there

Lately, Moment has been surpassed by other lens makers. I think Sandmarc is pretty good but who really knows? This topic seems to be all so subjective.
The guy is a small creator doing what he can with the company that was willing to work with him. Competition is good. Brands don't give a single fuck about you and this kind of attitude is what enabled Adobe to become the monster it is today.
Never shop from a company that doesn't make their product perfect and suggests you to buy something with it for "the perfect result"

@@smartphonefilmmakingpro I apologise, having just rewatched the video I realised that I missed the section at 2:30 where you say that you don't review products where you're told what to say and that all the opinions are solely your own.
However it's the section of video from 5:25 that made me doubt what you were saying. Not just in the wording used (too much emphasis on the word quality without explanation, although I don't dispute it) but the grating sound of the lenses at the same time, which even seems to catch you off-guard while saying it.
