A great comparison! Being an apple user, I would go with the Samsung buds from my experiance with both lines! Better overall sound balance and better feature set!
I've had the Galaxy buds, buds+ and buds pro. Galaxy buds are so comfortable but they lack of sound quality, buds+ are amazing but they kinda hurt my ears more than 3 or 4 hrs, buds pro unfortunately are to big and they kept falling out but the sound is the best so far! Currently I'm using my buds+ can't wait for my buds 2 to arrive I'm so excited
I've had all of them too including the Buds Live which was the worst fit of all for me. I'm currently using the OG Buds for running and for longer sessions. However, I keep the Buds Pro for meetings because the mic is a lot better. From what I read it looks like these GB2 are finally a good replacement for the OG Buds.

Preeeaaaahhhh brotha mane I hade the gear icons the buds an buds + which I have now but only one of got a pair of the beats studio buds an I fuckin hate em they sound good but the fits is ass they fall out at the slightest sign of sweat the battery on them are ass even in standby they die so fast they do sound good but nothing beats the buds+ battery life I fuckin forget at times I have my one one of my buds in my ear if I'm not playing music for a while an to this day I still use my one right bud over my beat ANY DAY
Bro, for a channel with only 136k subs, your contents are really top notch! Personally, I'd go for the Beats since Airpods Pro is way out of my budget.

@@WhiskeyWelk I use live and just got my bud2, personally I think I think bud2 sound better due to the isolation. Overall I do think bud2 is the better product and have a great sound balance. Only downside I would say the ANC is not super great compare to airpod pro or oneplus bud pro.

But listening to music it definitely make up due to the passive isolation. It's a very well round for a pair of ear buds at the $150 range. But if you got a bit more money, the bud pro definitely sound better.
Not seeing anyone report on the mic quality as he wanted- beats seemed to sound robotic and clipping. I was glad to hear that since Buds 2 arrive tomorrow. Buds Pro did not work out- too big for my small ears. One kept falling out.

I just don't see recommending the Galaxy Buds 2 because they are integrated with Samsung and the Samsung app??? Bottom line is that people will hardly use the app and hoping one day Samsung will do an update is not a sound evaluation technique, it should strictly boil down to which one is better

I think sound is exactly the other way around, of course it's mostly subjective but frequency response is the one thing that is not. The 'by AKG' part is not a joke, samung owning AKG and harman gives them a huge advantage. The gb2 are very very well tuned, even most wired in ears at its price can match its level lf tuning. Go watch crinacles video on them he explains it very well.
You broke the number one rule in tech....buy a product for what it is now....now what MAY happen with updates in the future....we've all been let down many times in the past!
i have the beats and honestly i dont like them much due to always falling out of the ear. They marketed them as for android/ios but they are terrible on android and seem too plain on IOS for my taste. they sound good if you get them perfectly in your ear but they always fall out.
Why is it that on all of the microphone tests the buds sounds terrible, but in real life, like on a MS Teams call for example, they sound crystal clear?

The Buds Pro are better than the Buds 2 but the silicone tips on the Buds 2 are night and day better so you shouldn’t have a problem with fit.

It really doesn't take much to beat the Beats. They're pretty overrated :-D
Most of the time I would agree but in this case the Studio Buds are actually quite good and provide very balanced sound.
They actually sound damn good and I usually hate beats lol.
