Everything everyone's favorite Harlequin of Destruction, Kefka, says to his foes when he fights them.
Yes, I do use custom rules on the last ex-burst. I don't want to spend half the fight just gathering EX after all.

@craigsands2567 Yeah in Final Fantasy 6 as a summary, Kefka served under a emperor for a bit and then killed him. He then gained power to become the magic God he is now and legit DESTROYED THE WORLD (or at least caused TONS of chaos)

A bit late... but Sephiroth usuped God and destroyed other Solar Systems for an desperate attempt to kill Cloud.... Kefka was very dangerous for his FF World- but this reach never extended all of the other FF worlds
Sephiroth thanks to remake and rebirth is apparently multiversal in power so yeah Kefka giving Sephiroth better props is justified.

Plus also it should by all rights be "swordswoman". I haven't played Lightning's game so does she call herself a swordsman at all?
She is a sanctum corps officer but she is the only one in the game to really use a sword so it makes sense even though its a gunblade
The worst part of this dialogue is comparing an awful character Lightning to a good character like Celes.

Because if you remember FFV When he became Neo Exdeath, he was utterly fucking insane. He wanted to erase the world and everyonething in it, including himself. Kefka is basically speechless because he's found someone who just as crazy as he is.
Honestly the fact that Exdeath of all things unnerves him is kind of funny. I wonder why that is...

Why does everyone think that? Because (as far as I know) there's no source proving it otherwise.
I mean, considering what Kefka did, I think he's referring to both his skill and intentions. Sephiroth wanted to have the planet for himself, whereas Kefka just destoyed because he wanted to. So either isn't much less screwed up than the other.

Kefka was insulting Sephiroth by calling him insane.. which is ironic coming from him, and was most likely also the joke. Even during the story, Kefka insults Sephiroth, and during a conversation with the other villains, they claim they don't know what Sephiroth's deal is, and Kefka is all "he's just another sadist with a god complex; like THAT'S something special!" alluding to the fact that most of them are like that and just brushes Sephiroth off.
@@Arthurmagicknight You forget that at the same conversation, when they mentioned that Sephiroth killed himself in the last cycle, even Kefka was shocked by it. So contrary to how he brushed him off, Kefka realized Sephiroth is insane on a level even he can’t understand.

I imagined Kefka's voice would be so much more... insane and sinister.
Even in his native game, Kefka never really strikes you as threatening or imposing, really, until he steals the power of the Warring Triad for himself. Which is probably what made his ascent to the evil main bad guy such a twist, back in SNES days: it was at least a bit of a fucking surprise. He just seems like this impotent court minister type character, harmless enough, and then suddenly he's there, pushing people to their death, or slipping poison into water supplies... like some kind of surprise-evil-monster-jack-in-the-box.
It would have been cool if they'd had his voice deepen when he takes on God form, though. At that point in the game, he's literally rebuilt the world into a twisted version of itself, and placed himself upon a junk-heap throne--a heap of machinery that was presumably the capitol of the Evil Empire he was initially just a toady for.

Yeah, I get your point. But it'd be nice to have a voice with that range, that mercurial quality. Something like Mark Hamill's interpretation of the Joker. A character that can be making you laugh then turn around and send chills up your spine with the turn of a phrase. All this is purely my opinion, of course.

The same mommy who effectively ruined and destroyed the lives of more than half the cast of FF7. I like Kefka more, but in terms of power Sephiroth come fairly close to him.
I feel he was implying that Sephiroth is not the type to be controlled easily and will do as he pleases. The kind of character who would ruin his plans. But beyond that, he certainly recognizes his fearsome fencing abilities.

I disagree. Sephiroth isn't even top 3 if you were to compare the "raw power" of the Final Fantasy franchise villains. Kefka is the only one who has reached actual goodhod, and while I agree Sephiroth is powerful, what makes every character in every game he's in kiss his ass is his popularity. Kefka, Emperor Mateus and ExDeath are all examples of stronger villains from the same franchise. Now, this is just MY opinion, you are of course entitled to yours :)

Omnislash Ver. 5/6 was a complete deus ex machina, somehow getting strength from a spirit for a limit break despite being completely slaughtered throughout the fight while Sephiroth didn't even break a sweat. His right leg's muscles should've been shredded when Sephiroth ripped Masamune out of his leg to throw him into the roof of a building after performing Octaslash. He never should've been able to jump, considering he never cast a Cure/a/aga spell to heal it.
