I used to work for Bungie (Halo, Destiny) as a senior environment artist. If the rapture wasn’t going to happen in the next 1-4 months I would definitely be looking at applying. When I first got saved in 2020 I tried seeing if any Christian video game companies existed and there wasn’t much to speak of. God called me to be a watchman instead, and now I’m fully expecting to be caught up to meet Him VERY SOON. We should all be watching. Most of the church has no clue how near the Lord’s return is unfortunately. He’s given an encoded outline of His end-time plan in Scripture that is very detailed.
I play games I am also a born again Christian , but in my spare time I also enjoy to play games . But this is a fantastic idea so many gamers out there that will never see the light of Christ but may the lord use this project to open the eyes of many . Amen 🙏

Maybe you could reach out to him and work with him, he does have a good decade+ in gaming industry experience. On the flipside Bungie tweeted out por-choice things on their COMPANY account so I stopped playing Destiny 2 right away and I loved the FPS paly of it.

As a "big gamer" I hope you consider the budget and available time for game dev when you compare this with other games you've played. Tower Defense is a proven genre and adding story is probably pretty compelling, so it seems like it would be good. But they're not EA or Riot and comparing it to something like Apex or Valorant would be completely unfair. From: a game design teacher :)
@KatjaStarr When it comes to budget, that depends on how they spend it. There have been examples of indie games being higher quality than a AAA game. Now, when it comes to time, I'm fine with them taking the time they need. But hey, they are new to this, so I'm giving them a chance.

This is great news! As a Christian who streams videogames, I do my best to explain what I'm playing and how Christian values, and even the Gospel itself, can be found by examining why certain things are the way they are in said games, but I've always believed that it would be possible to make a videogame that championed the Gospel. Unfortunately, I'm no developer (I have a bit of writing experience, but not enough on the professional level), so I'll be cheering for you from the sidelines. God bless!
