The only problem is, that she is a 5 star and you need to waste a whole pity to get her unlike gorou. And they both have very nice constellations, but grous are a lot easyer to get:/ I really enjoy 4 star niche supports, but 5 stars tho....
@@varryi2041 Yeah, in terms of meta, people should only really get her if they have like Ganyu or Ayaka, but even then, it's still difficult to say it's worth it, especially if you're F2P

Shenhe makes all Cryo characters do so much damage. My 10k E chongyun damage became a 20k Chongyun E damage

It's good on the open world but in abyss I don't it's that good unless you have proper team comp or cons or good weapons for mono cryo team

Gorou is doing his best as a party buffer for being a geo and 4 star character. Shenhe 5star attribute is her being able to buffer cryo and provide cryo resonance. Though she can be a little bit more universal, that's her main difference
doesnt gorou ALSO provide geo resonance-? Like ik it does more with 3 geos but its still there

@@NotJustVix the difference as you kinda mentioned is that gorou needs at least other 2 geo pals while shenhe goes nice with one, that is what i undestood about she being more universal, I am no crazy about the character, although her eyes are really pretty.
@@hectorlackless shenhe value decreases the less cryo party member you have in your team. I think it's the fact that shenhe can boost every single cryo char while gorou only focuses on noelle and itto
I just wish they gave her more stacks at c0, like 10/14 or something, 5/7 seems very low, especially on that cooldown.

Actually its not that bad.. if you have free time, pls watch xlice youtube video on shenhe.. the total damage shenhe can do can reach 280k-350k.. if you have c1, thats number will double if you really optimise the rotation.. but the calculation is per enemy.. but still, not that bad

@@hhh-ho4zk xlice is a whale, the damage would have a HUGE difference. Not only because they have a lot of the resources, but they also have her signature weapon and godly artifacts. With that, they can easily do big numbers, especially with the other cryo characters fully built, and their 5 stars weapons too.
F2p player won't reach those numbers, so it's not relevant to bring xlice or any other RUclipsrs here, since the original commenter is probably f2p too. Even myself who pulled for shenhe felt a bit underwhelmed.
Shenhe went from being super underwhelming from her kit to actually amazing though still really niche 😅
Only problem is that quota should really be increased and not locked behind C6
Couldn't agree more c1 is good but it still means only ~14 quota. Making me want to c6 her (via saving + a bit of top up) but like too much dedication lol. They should at least double the quota (c0)

To me, she feels like a true damage per screenshot character outside of higher constellations. I'm happy I have her just in case she does become hyper meta as the game continues, but she's definitely not for people who don't already have a good cryo unit

shenhe is literally so cool, not only she's a good support for cryo units, her design and character is top tier too. and her namecard is one of my favorites, it was the reason why i wanted to pull for her until zhongli got announced.

Same. I do a lot of team building on my channel and I try not to recommend benny constantly. Yes, he's meta. But he's not the only healer or buffer

You should try this again but with using Ganyu burst. She grants herself another 20% cyro dmg bonus and it'll make a difference.
The ult icicles hitting will get the quota of 5 or 7 hits before ganyu can even charge her shot, so no
@@anishdode4023 biggest issue with that for sure, however, combining both bursts and then an anemo burst almost makes it irrelevant the aoe dmg is so high even without a 4th character for a crazier boost. Completely destroyed abyss 12 with it.
@@anishdode4023 I think that doesnt count tho? because the hold skill is for normal/charge attacks only, and the tap skill is for the skills/burst (correct me if I'm wrong)
@@musikxia It counts. However ganyus charged attack takes 1.8 seconds to charge and screws up rotations without C6, so shenhe is there to buff her skill and her first few icicles, whereas Ganyu is there to provide an extra 20% cryo buff.
Together Ganyu and shenhe can buff cryo damage by 50%.
The only issue is ganyus 20% cryo buff might be more insignificant than replacing her with a character such as Rosaria who benefits a lot more from shenhe.
Chongyun, Shenhe, Rosaria would be stronger than Chongyun, Ganyu, Shenhe basically. You also still need a 4th slot for qiqi, Diona, or any other healer. So it's not like you can do Chongyun, Shenhe, Rosaria, Ganyu.
If they ever release Prototype Amber as a bow is the day Ganyu can become a burst healer.
Also to take note: Kazuha is better than Ganyu as VV grants a 20% damage increase and kazuha grants an extra 20% elemental damage increase. You just need to make sure you are rotating in swirls. Kazuha also provides CC unlike Ganyu.

For future use: I killed every single whopperflower in the game, it took ~2 hours.
Drops vary, but I got 534 nectar, 144 shimmering nectar, and 38 energy nectar. So more then enough to fully raise a character!
So early, shenhe is so beautiful and strong she's so op with cyro characters genshin driving me crazy with this banners man..

i actually like this recent trend of niche supports a lot! between gorou, sara, shenhe and yun jin, i believe that when we have a few specific units that are wanted by every team comp, it gets really difficult to build teams for content like abyss. like, what are you gonna do with your run if both of your dpses demand to have bennett in their teams? it's very useful honestly.

The difference in Ganyu dmg at the end might have been bc Masanori was outside of Shenhe’s burst AoE, which reduced Cryo and physical resistance

If anyone is curious, Moga’s biggest hit on Masanori (the over 100k one) had the following buffs:
- Benny Ult
- Zhongli shield res shred
- 4 pc tenacity proc off Zhongli pillar
- Shenhe burst res shred
- Shenhe burst cryo dmg bonus
- Shenhe icy quills
- Shenhe hold skill charged attack damage bonus
Earlier he was missing a piece or two here and there, usually from Masanori not standing within Shenhe burst or beside the Zhongli pillar. With all that said, he probably would have hit higher numbers swapping Zhongli out for Kazuha who would provide more res shred and a cryo dmg bonus.
Glad I decided on Ganyu and Ayaka as my two hyper focused DPS as MHY essentially made Shenhe for my account

0:02 I usually trust White Bat Audio with music. No copyright or royalties to deal with, because the musician himself says that giving credits in the description is enough. With C1 Shenhe can re-apply the buff to Ayaka. I typically Use Shenhe's Q then E then Ayaka's Q and then half way through I use Shenhe's E again. Once you have the timing down it is consistent 30k+ ticks. If you want to get even crazier lay down Bennett's Q before you start with Shenhe.
Yessss. There's tons of cool mechanics that you can do with Shenhe.. gonna take most ppl a lot of time to figure these things out.

Shenhe is really good in a reverse melt Ganyu comp since Ganyu has to stay close to the enemy anyway with xiangling or bennet.

i use c1 ganyu,rosaria,c0 shenhe-kazuha ,this team is no joke in abyss 12 where you just need to rotate burst/skill (no charged shot) .the team clear almost as fast as my r1 c2 raiden hypercarry comp .But you need to be good at dodging because no healer/shielder ,it is not that hard because most of the time you are i-framing .

The tap/hold buff isn't just for cryo damage. Tapping gives 15% burst/skill damage, holding 15% normal/charged/plunge damage. *In addition to that,* you get the frozen quills which will buff cryo damage.
Day 13 of asking Moga to build melt ganyu
Since you asked in video, wanderers is the second best set for her but shimenawa is the best. You need atleast 60% cr for her and em is a key stat, which means ideally you can get an em sands.
For melt, don't use burst. It'll steal reactions. Xiangling Zhongli Bennett is a good team, but replacing xiangling with kazuha also works. Do not add shenhe, she will steal reactions which makes her only good for ganyu in freeze.

For anyone finding this in 2024 and wondering about Shenhe's strength:
She does require a Cryo dps, however it does not need to be a 5* Cryo dps
She buffs Rosaria, any character infused by Chongyun, Aloy even, the only requirement is Cryo damage being dealt, but she makes it good damage
She's also a good cyro dps with Chongyun, but it's fine if you use her a support.

13:05 why does it matter how fast they get used? If you get the 7 stacks off in 2 seconds with ayaka and have to wait 8 seconds without stacks or if you need 8 seconds with ganyu and have to wait 2 seconds, both proc the same amount and thus do the same DMG with the stacks (potentially it's even better to use them up faster)
moga: thankfully, there will be a little bit of a break after shenhe and yunjin because the next 2 characters will be repeats

i also have a shenhe i use shenhe kazuha bennett Ganyu and the rotation being like Shenhe E > Kazuha E(swirl cryo) > Bennett Q > Kazuha Q(swirl pyro) > Ganyu chargen shots. she easily hits over 120k melt with kazuha q applying pyro again and again

afk arena is really a good game. I thought its a really cheap and boring game because of the ads but i fell in love with the game in mid summer 2021! i would really recommend it
I never rlly farmed nobless so, after getting a ATK, ER CD feather, i checked my other pieces and i had an identical flower (numbers a bit off but whatever) and also ATK Goblet and circlet which was a godsend because
