- hi! today i wanted to show you how i have been casually studying mandarin chinese, thai, and korean lately. i don't have a very good study routine or habit yet but that's something i want to build in the new year.

@@whosreganquick question, how do u know which dialect r u speaking? Kinda like how in busan n Seoul it sounds different for Korea, which r u studying for Thai? Wats the most known one? N which one should I study?
I've started studying Korean, Japanese, and Mandarin Chinese and It has been hard but I have a lot of motivation so I hope we both achieve learning these languages

@ソヨン So- Young Someone who learns German! As a German, I wish you the best of luck, you can do it! Some things in German may seem weird or are difficult to remember (for example some grammar parts), but don’t give up!

aaahhhh someone else learning Thai! I've been studying Thai, Korean, and French and compared to Korean and French there's so little content on youtube of people learning Thai :(
same I’m studying Thai without books and it’s hard for me learn through RUclips videos there’s no many content about this language it’s really sad
yah ive found that as well. however there is quite a good amount of free material on youtube to learn from tho which is nice
theres a channel called You Too Can Learn Thai which i really like

@BatJoker hi!! i'm french and yeah our shows kinda suck ngl. but you can watch "Skam France" available on youtube. there is also Lupin. (i didn't watched it but many inter liked it). and if you're more confortable with french you can watch many youtubers, it depends on what you like but i can give you my favs : Joyca, Mastu, Squeezie. some of their vids have eng sub. you can add me on twitter if you want so maybe i can help you to find content you like!

i started studying thai with a free trial of mango languages. i think structured courses like that can be helpful for difficult languages but doing it without spending money is always the goal
With Mango. If you have a library card then it’s free. I’m using it and I like it.
ahhhhhhh I want to learn Thai SO BAD but I literally cannot comprehend the alphabet heeeelppp
I am also learning Thai, but the trick is to download lots of Thai alphabet apps and to listen to the alphabet songs too, you'll see as time goes on you'll find a method that works for you! Su Su!
honestly yeah, i don't think you need to study nothing but the alphabet before moving on to things like vocab, but it is good to just practice it as much as you can. it will just take time unfortunately. i find that starting to also study vocab even if i don't have the alphabet completely down help me not lose motivation

What laptop do you use?
its the microsoft surface 3 in sandstone. its beautiful and i love it. my only thing is that it doesnt fold back 360 so you can draw on it but thats minor lol
