depends on how urgent you are, render farm can get REALLY expensive.

LOL, "if you don't have a great computer and have 10k €" must be the name of this video :) i'd like to say that ranchcomputing farm is 10x easier to send project !!

    Calculated single image 1920x1080 px
It cost 3.69 euro for ryzen 7 3700x
After 89 renders i can buy the cpu and have unlimited renders. So render farm for single image is nonsense for me

Its okay for small projects, but for large projects with many textures, proxies and many xrefs, it takes longer to upload the project than to render...then there are also annoying double texture errors that also consume time trying to fix.

but it brings us back to the same place. she said IF YOU ONLY HAVE ONE PC and is not as fast.. remember that you need a GOOD workstation if you have a big space in Unreal. if you go with light mass Baking it could take you HOURS to bake the scene in mid to production level.
if you dont have a good Graphics card you cannot do GPU lightmass baking.
and last. IF you dont have $900 to $1,200 to spend on an Nvidia RTX 2080 TI or 1080 you most definitely cannot work on raytracing out of the box..so a renderfarm. could be you last and only resort.

      Thanks for explain
      But
many people havn't a very good display card .. not working always with a big work or need animation
They go to Lumion to finish it as possible ..
      So
Some of solution for intermediet or advanced users .. USE UNREAL ENGIN
it is a perfect solution for HQ work image or animation very very easy with UE4
Baking light most of time with GPU Lightmass is very quick ..
And remember 1 hour baking = unlimted output image with no time for 4K or Full HD size image
So it is another solution parallel RENDER FARM for user vray or Corona Renderer

    • @mae2309
      @mae2309 3 года назад +2

lumion is even worst.. if you use lumion you need at least a $5k pc for it to run in full motion... unreal not much just a good CPU if your going Raytrace..

Even if it's payed review, it's rude not to mention it and their cons. They do not support a lot of simple stuff (time limit, time range and custom range of animation, very slow up and down stream, app can't connect to the server very often, warning that you will render region etc). There are a lot of better services out there with 24/7 customer support which is glad to help you, install missing plugins and even resolve render problem caused by you. You disappointed for a handful of $
