My memories were of a gentler time when the lack of AI and flooding youtube with a massive amount of the same incorrect content over never existed. Days gone by! Sigh!
In an era of gas ration tickets during WW2 trucks could get more gas than cars so to adapt to this problem cars became trucks that were never meant to be trucks.
First three minutes spent describing the basic workhorse Ford truck. Hardly "goofy"! 2nd truck - 37 Studebaker Coupe Express. Half the trucks shown are entirely something different. A beautiful truck, certainly not "goofy". This writer's OPINIONs are just that, in no way important.
The trucks were way before my time here. $700 dollars !! You nuts. I didn't pay but $1200 for my house. 👍 Now we have house payments on our trucks. Till one or the other dies. 😄
I’m not sure. Possibly storage of small or long skinny stuff that you want to keep dry, hidden and out of the way. When I was a window cleaner, I put PVC pipe on the roof rack of my truck to store my poles. I can’t imagine a truck company building a truck with such specialized equipment though.
You would think that, nearly 1/4 of the way through the 21st century, people who resort to using AI to speak for them, would either get AI that could pronounce words correctly, or, at least, take the time to listen to what AI is saying, and how it is pronouncing words BEFORE releasing the content. My 8 year old grandchild reads out loud better than this does. I sure hope you didn't waste a lot of money on this AI, because if you did, you were robbed. Thumb down, and no subscription from me, and I told RUclips not to recommend this channel to me again.
First thing noticed, the video creator doesn't know what the definitions of words "Goofy, American, or Pickup" are. Besides that, Styleside/Fleetside pickups started back around 1930 with the Ford model 66A. Try to do some basic research before posting AI clickbait.
I know Datsun built a version of the Austin Seven under license, possibly in the 1920's or 1930's The red, the black and the green pickups do slightly resemble the Austin Seven, I hope this helps your research
This is just another rehash of other videos previously made. Worse, it is poorly done. Why did you guys not show the crewcab Mercury instead of showing the regular Mercury cutting donuts? Very stupid mistake.
Paused at 12:00 all I saw were cool trucks? SOme look better stock others lifted not lowered etc The Willys Jeep P/U all time fav just cant fit in them! Were men short in those times or what?
This video will be in Bel Air rated so you’re pretty we’ll guarantee almost everything on it is against these trucks or wrong about them. Every one of his trucks is bad to the bone. It’s not if you like it,It is the love of the truck by the owner.
I am sick and tired of all the click bait people are putting on the video thumbnail I noticed that towards the end of the video two more popped up and sure enough there was the click bait, now I along with everyone else would watch the video's just for the vehicles alone, no need for the click bait
Got any memories with these car brands? Share your nostalgic stories! Let's celebrate their legacy together??

One Goofy attempt of an informational video.

This whole video is ai. Even the girl on the thumbnail, I'm sorry to say.
If you were to make better videos you wouldn't have to resort to disgusting clickbait .
Obviously the writer's personal opinion presented as 'fact', poor research, overlaid by a poorly programmed AI TTS voice.
Fed up with these AI-made videos 😡😡🤮🤮🤮

This is just clickbait
He coulda had just as much traffic with an honest title. Stopped watching a couple min in.
I don’t know why you call these trucks goofy trucks. They’re simply trucks built for function.
That's exactly why I just down voted this.
@@markwagoner3599 Title is jut t more clickbait what a waste.
First couple were pretty cool, stopped watching after that
Too much talking 😮
Too sweet
8:49 what were these projecting things used for ?

This video is a joke from clickbait title to...as you described the rest.

29:30 they are? The 1st 4x4 was in 1957 and it was a Napco conversion. Factory 4x4's didn't appear until the early sixties. Research?
Why 1955's,1957's etc???
Thumbnail completely gringe worthy. Desperate?
Odd video footage...
Reve up the engine??? Really 😅
Thanks for the comments I don't have to waste time watching

Those Datsun pickups look more like 1930"s to 1940's era. Look nothing like cars or pickups from the 60's or 70's!!
Paused at 12:00 all I saw were cool trucks? SOme look better stock others lifted not lowered etc

But where's the thumbnail?
The Artificial Intelligence on these types of videos needs to be a little less artificial and a lot more intelligent.
Nice truck

ALL EXAMPLES OF MODEL AA EXPRESS SHOWN WERE NOT 28 OR 29 MODEL A! THEY WERE 30 OR 31, BECAUSE 28 AND 29 HAD AN OFFSET BY ENGINE COWL
Do you mean that Datsun pickups were American pickups?
No footage of Mercury trucks, just some buttwipe doing donuts. No photos of restore Powell trucks, when did Datsun become American Truck.

Well at least the fake thumbnail was good and completely misleading...sad their is not really a way to block these accounts...
There are plenty of extensions/add-ons that block channels but I agree that this should a native YT feature.
Read some comments first, save you the trouble of watching clickbait bs

Not here thank good ness. Vid is clickbait bs anyways.
