Unfortunately sometimes we need to distance ourselves from toxic family members. My mom used to say sometimes family are like fish… after a while some really begin to stink!! Firstly, I am so very sorry for your loss. I have 10 betta fish. 11 jumping spiders. 1 frog & 2 cats. Some are pets. Some are family. 1 cat was born in my room & I raised her. She's 4 now & we're extremely close. So, I can only imagine how you're feeling. CYBER HUGS! I'm glad you have this forum to express yourself. Second, I agree with you about taking care of yourself, by cutting out toxic people. If a bf/gf is toxic, everyone is like 'GET RID OF THEM.' Oh, but if you're family is toxic, you just have to 'tolerate' them. No, you don't. I have 6 siblings, but only talk to 1, because the rest are narcissists. I also stopped talking to my dad recently. Hard, but necessary. He too was very toxic. Just love & forgive them from afar. It's never easy to end a relationship. We're hard wired to have them. But it's better to be alone, than surrounded by 20 narcissists. Thirdly, congratulations on your studies. Best of luck in the new year & I hope every day brings you more healing!
Same! Worst part was I had to drive 5 hrs while sobbing 😑 it still sucks but I'm better as each day goes by. But I will always have a spot in my heart for my pet ❤️💔

We have family cat named midnite my grandma found him I a housing project back in 2013 or 2014 it was in single digit temperatures outside she found a box here there him other kittens that were in there left for dead but somehow lucky midnite survived the rest was left frozen dead they don't who left the poor kittens outside in that frigid night it was horrible but we had him since he is a big fat cat

The Chinook which has been a heavy lift power house helicopter. The apache is the best Attack Helicopter in the word and the Kiowa warrior is a lightly armed scout helicopter. They are all bad ass vehicles. There are many more to name that I just dont know off the top of my head but they are out there in the us military inventory. Im sorry imma military nerd lol but anyways last thing i wanted to say is i been sober off drugs and alcohol since December 16th 2018. I lost everything amd all my family and friends but im doing great now. Im happy you're sober, brother. God was watchin over us man because we dont all survive. Most of us end up as statistics. I haven't been posting lately because I've been incredibly busy with work and school and not until now, I have some more time, although I'm in the middle of moving and if I can, I'll try to record something. And yeah, a lot of natives actually like the recognition of being named after things, it's the idiots that say it's "racist" to use us as "mascots." And lastly, congratulations! Sobriety isn't easy at first but like I said, I've been so busy with school and moving my life in a positive direction and I could never do that if I was still drinking. That's some of the biggest problems within the NA community and it's annoying other social issues get more attention than important issues like alcohol and drug abuse. Keep up the good work, brother 💪🏽
