My rock: I listened to all Snatam Kaur CDs I owned during my drives to see my father while he was dying. The sound gave me courage and calm. I cared deeply for my father and wanted him to pass in peace and dignity. So I had him listen to the CDs when I visited. He LOVED and with each day became peaceful and dignified. I sang aloud with my family Adays Tisay Adays when he died. I didn't know the meaning of it at that time. Now I do... so I smile at that. These mantra are intuitive to all.
Suddenly, my physical body felt so free and tears just literally cascaded out from me eyes. Wow, i never experienced anything like that before. I don't usually comment on anything but i just felt that someone here needs to read about my wonderful experience. To the 2 people who did the meditation and to the person who posted it i can only say thank you. I will never forget this experience.
I'm a 53 year old female and I was able to do it. Of course, I've been doing Kundalini yoga for over a year, and I think that alone, gave me the physical and mental strength to do these videos. Just go at your own pace, and work up to it, and eat healthy. Namaste
this was so hard at first, I was just waiting for it to be over. But it gets easier each day. I am feeling so strong. I could do 62 minutes if I wanted. Can't wait to see the results at the end. Keep up everyone, you can do it! Sat Nam!

Wow. I feel so blessed to have found this meditation. I was just prayer for help to release all my fear and i was led to this link. Although i followed my inner guidance and did the meditation the way i felt was right for me, with sitting back straight on a chair, feet flat on the floor and palms down on my knees, i had the most amazing experience. I just closed my eyes while listening to that soft beautiful music and then it started.
Simply listening to Snatam sing this mantra is healing in and of itself (esp the 30+ minute looped version on healing mantra mps). Beautiful that you've offered this teaching as well. Thank you.
I have played this over and over about 10x-if they (Snatam Kaur and Sopurkh Singh) get the blessings of all these repeated playings of this meditation, (almost 17,000 views), they are really really blessed. :) This has been a good night.
I just want to put this out there for anyone who is experiencing any difficulty with their arms. I do 3 on & then 3 off. When I am NOT doing the arm movements (during the 3 offs). I am doing deep breathing from the naval & still singing the mantras. I have fibro & have to cycle like this. However, this may also help you build up your stamina. My approach is "just allow..." when I do it this way I better enjoy what I am doing. I hope this helps! Peace & blessings 🙏 love & light ❤

to Mariel in Lakesh, I know exactly what you mean about spirituality being only for the rich. I can only say that when I met my personal teacher, money was NEVER an issue. Either I had enough for what I wanted to do, or they were flexible in taking payment (plus my teacher charges a fraction of what others charge, and not because she is inferior, but because money is not what drives her). Any true spiritual master is NOT caught up on the financial aspect of what they are doing, which is not to say that they aren't concerned about money, nor that they don't need it (everyone needs money, or some kind of trade), but that it will NEVER be a barrier to keep them from teaching a true student. Maybe you haven't met your teacher yet. Maybe it's a good thing you haven't been able to afford to go to any retreats. The practice I have is meant to do the same thing that Snatam Kaur says this meditation is for: to raise the vibration of your physical body. There are many ways to do this, and not just through meditation. I would suggest to anyone doing this practice to keep your eyes OPEN, if you want to stay inside your physical body and raise it's vibration, otherwise, it's very easy to start floating out of your body, which may be a very peaceful, interesting or exciting thing, but it's a HUGE impediment to raising your matter's vibration, and incorporating that vibration into your everyday walking around life. It's easy for meditation to be something that you do once or twice a day, what's difficult is to meditate all day long, while you're shopping for groceries, while you're driving in your car. Life is not peaceful out in the world, and we need to learn to incorporate our spiritual practice into every corner of our lives, if not, we will never actually change, but create a huge spiritual ego around ourselves which is a sort of false facade. This is what most people are doing, even if they are benefiting from their practice, and it makes them pretentious and look down on the other "uninitiated" (I know this because it happened to me personally and many people that I know).

Just did one half session. Felt silly with the arm movements and hard to memorize the song however I will give it anoth few days. I didn't realize I cut the blood supply to my feet and was stuck on the floor for a few minutes lol. Thank you for this video. I am running out of options in life to get better and I have hopes this can help.
Day two. So angry half way through I'm singing along and have the words printed in front of me and it sounds like she is saying anahad ananahat but the letters are anaad anaahat and I keep missing it up. So basically I'm not speaking any language and just making random sounds and it makes me so angry. I had to stop. I don't get what's going on here and yet I want to understand.
Sat nam! Upper body strength doesn't really help as much as you might think. The majority of this exercise is mental and is equally difficult for men and women. And there are many kriyas that require a great deal of lower body exertion as well. Many blessings!

The best way to go to 31 minutes - which I discovered this about 3-5 minutes into this - is to never stop moving the arms. After you start getting going, don't stop and hold when the mantra does - do 2 reps during the space and keep going with the beat. It's about moving with the flow and freeing yourself. To me, pausing makes the exercise physically much harder, and stopping the flow or staggering it doesn't feel as juicy. In either case, this is a great one. Love and enjoy!
i saw that i was lifted to another place another plane where i was laying down on a table with 4 Beings around me. Lord Sanada at my head, Arc Gabriel at my feet and Michael on my right and Raphael on my left. Different color where being integrated in my body, white, orange, blue and green. First there was a dark smoke coming out from my chest then at the end of the meditation it turned into a rainbow color light coming out of my chest and that light filled the whole space where we were.
Is there something in particular we should think/feel about it visualize while doing this? What have some people noticed as positive changed as a result of this kriya?
Thank-you for posting this meditation. It has been phenomenal! I ended up looking up Yogi Bhajan to find out more about him. He seemed a wonderful teacher and man, but I see that he passed away at a relatively young age and that just made me question the power of his teachings for some reason. Can anyone help me with an explanation?

Kriya Yoga without the burden of unnecessary details of "say this, do that" is better than this. If you want this, then do this if you can. If it is too much of a burden, do something else. Yoga and Qigong have many forms, don't feel you "must do it this way or that". Also, ideally you will ALWAYS be doing this! So HOW? Only if you can adapt your life and your yoga INTO each other. So don't get tripped out on mechanics and this and that form. Good thoughts/words/deeds is better than any doctrine or dogma or creed, so why be hung up on what "Religion" espouses what? You don't have to convert to Zoroastrianism or "be" a Zoroastrian to do that! Daoism is not a Chinese Religion. Those who understand why I said these things should have NO problem getting what they want out of any given practice, if they are Sincere and Brave.
The Gnostic Truth - I would like to suggest that we don't get stuck on being stuck or on being un-stuck or on following or on not following or on becomming a follower or on becomming a piece of fly paper for you, for me or anyone. If you can do this sadhana as suggested with constant flow and growth in the Light then do it. As long as you can do it without losing your way in someone else's path to truth.; including mine or his or theirs. These are beautiful people, devoted to becomming co-creators with God and they are self-empowered to facilitate this path for any others who will take up the staff of a ritual life for the good of all. I Like them and their music. I have wanted to attend their siminars and conferences, but even the one in in Mexico, I could not effort it. Sad to say it, I want to expand consciousness, be open mind, learn, sing, But, it seems this gurus/liders have in common a spirituality only for the rich. I have bought the CD,s thats as much as I can. Just about to give up trying.
I know these compassionate people make allowances for people of all walks and financial situations. They have asked those who could not pay full price to work in the kitchen or other areas of the camp. Don't give up your dream of attending the conference. Ask the leaders and be willing to work.
Write it down and than first step you only sing the Mantra. Only sing sing sing. Than the Mantra is inside you for the work with your arms. I hold on 6 Minutes...not longer🤣
I don't understand how one can do this for 30 mins! My arms started to hurt a lot when it reached just 5 mins haha! Though I don't really exercise so that might be another reason why but yeah I was focusing on them cause I wanted to get it right. So maybe that didn't help either.
I’m am so afraid to do this i feel like I would be punish for doing this it’s a fear of not knowing if this is rite or wrong as I been told as a young girl not to do anything that displeases God , but I’m just so curious to do it is it wrong to try it idk !? Sad to say it, I want to expand consciousness, be open mind, learn, sing, But, it seems this gurus/liders have in common a spirituality only for the rich. I have bought the CD,s thats as much as I can. Just about to give up trying.

Write it down and than first step you only sing the Mantra. Only sing sing sing. Than the Mantra is inside you for the work with your arms. I hold on 6 Minutes...not longer🤣

I don't understand how one can do this for 30 mins! My arms started to hurt a lot when it reached just 5 mins haha! Though I don't really exercise so that might be another reason why but yeah I was focusing on them cause I wanted to get it right. So maybe that didn't help either.
In this video they suggest 11 minutes if someone could not do whole 30 minutes. You can try it.

I’m am so afraid to do this i feel like I would be punish for doing this it’s a fear of not knowing if this is rite or wrong as I been told as a young girl not to do anything that displeases God , but I’m just so curious to do it is it wrong to try it idk !? It’s really hard to unwind my mind and re teach my self new things anyone else feels this way ? 😫

+Elena Turmasova Yes, you can practice it for 11 minutes as well, it is recommended 31 minutes, you can build up to it over time, or you can rest your hands and then continue again.
