Billy wanting to find Tommy is actually such an emotional twist for me. We rarely see motivations and focus on sibling relationships. The way he wants to find ashe is the only person he can truly relate to and share their trauma. I just love it. Along with the fantastical angst of Billy thinking Wanda chose the town over them? MUWAH.
Love it when reactors pay attention to details and understand the story cause it shows. Loved getting to know Billy's origin story, Joe Locke and Kathryn Hahn were incredible. Great reaction.
-Agatha All Along- *_Wiccan All The While!_* What an episode. This completely recontextualised the show. And I was so surprised at the number of twists I never saw coming. Looking back, it was clear that Agatha knew he was indeed Billy. When he states that “people can’t be replaced” - Agatha looks him dead in the eye and says “can’t they?” hinting she knows Maximoff’s soul effectively possessed Kaplan’s and replaced him in his life. Alongside her noting how exceptional it is for a witch to undo a spell by the Scarlet Witch. I also believe Billy is the leader of the Coven. He was the one that wanted to visit the road, and had to talk each of the members (with Agatha) to convince them. They were all dismissive to walk - including Agatha herself initially. It also seems that the road reflects the mind of the witch that summoned it/lead the coven. When they first walk, Billy says “it’s just how I imagined it” and Agatha gives him a side-eye, and coldly states “it suits you” - meaning that she knows it’s manifesting how Billy imagined. Agatha inquiring where Billy Maximoff’s soul found a body to possess and projecting that him breaking the rules (of death) is fine…you can’t tell me she’s not thinking of how to resurrect her son in a similar way. And it’s very clear that she’s very fond of Billy. And that she was deeply hurt when he said he didn’t trust her, causing her to put her villainous mask persona up again. The way she was hyping him up and making light of Jen and Lilia’s “deaths” was in pride or an attempt to comfort him, initially. It’s very likely that this was the exact reason she went to the Hex to see Wanda - she just wanted to know how to bring her son back, like how Wanda brought Vision back. She pretty much states her intention, imploring Wanda to reveal how she did it (before walking her back through her memories). Only, because of the Darkhold’s influence, she went about in a very evil and villainous way. Much like how Wanda did when trying to find her children and wanting so sacrifice America Chavez to make it possible. And if she indeed knew he was Billy all along, then maybe the sigil Lilia placed wasn’t to shield him from Agatha, but to shield him from Rio/Death, who would have claimed Billy’s soul alongside William’s. Or perhaps it’s as simple as Lilia is tired and too traumatised from seeing the future and the horrible ways people will meet their end. And knowing that this sweet kid is about to die, she cast the sigil so she wouldn’t have to be tormented by it. Speaking of Rio, seems like she was _never_ in the coven at all. And that the black heart on the list was Billy all along, as his boyfriend calls him his “black heart”. But Lilia wrote the black heart because the sigil she cast shielded Billy’s identity from her. And being a witch, Billy’s own memory of his life in the hex was also hidden from himself. Maybe what drew Rio to Agatha at the start of the series was actually Billy, since his possession of Kaplan violated the natural order of death. But she was unable to locate him due to the sigil, or was distracted by Agatha. And while they fell out due to Rio claiming the life of her son, perhaps what drew Rio to Agatha to her in the first place is because of the sheer amount of bodies Agatha had accumulated. She literally killed so many people, she drew the attention of Death itself. Also, anyone else think that Evan Peters is being sneakily introduced as the MCU Wolverine with that deliberate use of the word “bub?” Especially considering his facial fair, and how similar he looked in this episode to actor Paul D'Amato, who Wolverine’s appearance and personality were modelled on after his character in the movie Slapshot? This is a huge reach though. Alice being a cop is a _perfect_ job for her as a protection witch. She’s _literally_ sworn to serve and *protect.*
1) So, Rio was not the black heart on Lilia's list; looks like it was Billy, because he is a witch. 2) I don't think he killed Lilia and Jen. 3) The actors playing Billy Kaplan's parents are accomplished actors, so I'm thinking they are already signed on for "Young Avengers".
In the first episode the scenes where Agatha approaches Herb as a detective in the beginning and then as herself (naked) after the spell is broken are framed the same way. Herb is standing in the same position and the police line from the beginning is now his fence. So when she crosses the police line to investigate she is going into his yard. The pictures of the flowers are pictures of Herb's yard.
So Billy is a true member of the coven. He was the last name vut Lilia was influenced by the sigil and coulsnt know his name. So she wrote the black heart (which was in the text from Eddie)
I also believe he’s the leader of the coven. He is the one that initially wanted to walk, and the road apparently manifests according to his imagination. When the coven first was, Billy states that the road is just how he imagined. Agatha gives him the side-eye and states “it suits you.”
So that means we have a Lilia and a BILLY trial ahead, and not a Rio one. Makes sense because Rio doesn’t really need the road… she’s just collecting stuff along the way and maybe her and Agatha can be together in some form…
@@ItsMorrigan219 I am getting taken to task for this opinion in some places, but it seems to make sense. Though part of me also wonders if this whole thing is created by Billy in a style similar to what Wanda did.
Agatha, the mother who lost her family. Billy, the son who lost his family. No wonder they have bonded against their inclination. Poor William Kaplan too. He was so bright and new... this episode hurt. I really loved the writing and acting. Bloody Joe Locke! He has been making me cry for YEARS now. It's important to note that a good actor can, of course, act well, but to act badly (and different levels and styles of badly) takes a true master. Kathryn Hahn is a FREAK! We should also all feel privileged to be allowed to watch the two of them acting the shit out of their scene together. (the fact the Joe could manage this level at 19, in his THIRD acting job EVER is... shudder!) As for Lilia and the sigil... I think she saw, not his lifeline splitting, but being spliced. That is, she saw a new soul "grafted on" after this boy dies. She might be "obeying instructions from her future self" or similar, but I think the simplest explanation is that she read the tragic future of the bright, young Wiiliam Kaplan and just didn't want to know. She scribbles a rough spell which will make any and all witches forget him, not to protect him (or his future "passenger") but to make HER forget him. She just doesn't want one more terrible fate she'd seen in her memories anymore. She'll remember she saw something, but not the who, not the face, not the voice. Unfortunately, Billy Maximoff is also a witch. So... Billy has to deal with "dying" as the hex dissolves, then waking up after "dying" in a car crash, then not being able to remember WHO he was before he died, EITHER time. Yeah... a lot happened to him at 13 is an understatement. It's taken him three years to "find himself" (and those words may never have been used more literally ever in history), and I'm not sure he likes who he is. It gives me real feelings that Billy and Agatha have more than just magic in common. Let's hope he chooses a different coping mechanism than she has
I guess the saddest part in all of this is that Kaplan’s parents lost their son completely, but never even knew it. Whereas Billy, Agatha and Wanda will undoubtedly have their resolutions in the future, the Kaplans will never have their son again - and not even know it. And William himself, a young boy with a bright future is tragically cut down. His life and future ended before it even began.
@@arc7375 Honestly, wouldn't it be a twist if he got to the end of the road, wished for his brother back, and actually got back William Kaplan in a cloned body.
Both can’t control their powers at the same age and for different reasons they are alone with no one to help them. I truly think it shows in so many ways that Agatha has a soft spot for Billy and always has. Even on Wandavision they had an interesting connection. I think she’s irritated with him but not mad. She’s impressed by him and that fondness from before when he told her he liked being at her house bc she was quiet. That line “It’s nice to see you again… Billy” was SO genuine. And she had tears in her eyes when he said that he didn’t and wouldn’t ever trust her. “Got it… Got it.” 😢 I did notice once in the credits if you look close by Kathryn’s name frame in background letters it says quickly “I can’t die” or something like that, which has me wondering about many things and if that’s why she was able to climb out of the mud.
I like the little Easter egg when he was texting his boyfriend and he called Billy his 🖤 which tells me Billy is a green witch and rio now being confirmed as lady death was just playing along…
“Agatha Harkness is an ancient witch that will f your shit up!” Period 🙌🏼 Teen flashback. Lilia was there! So Lilia drew the sigil? 🤯 The car wreck was wild. Officer Alice! He can hear thoughts? That car scene w/ Eddie 💚 Jenn in there too! Love seeing all the pieces come together. Ralph Boner cameo. Bonerific69? 😂 His Agatha research montage 🖤 Seeing the interrogation scene from this view makes it 10x funnier when she randomly kicks him 💀 That Billy/Agatha ending scene 🖤 So he’s after Tommy. Curious to see how the rest of the season plays out. Absolutely living for this series! Always providing us with the best reactions y’all 🙌🏼
What I don’t think people realize about Billy/Wiccan is: Potentially speaking, He’s like INSANELY strong in this showing- Instinctively reincarnating himself AS A CHILD. And gotta love the representation 🥳🤗
I’m not sure he had any say in it. Like Rio states, magic takes the path of least resistance. And it was simply convenient that Kaplan died, leaving an empty body for Maximoff’s soul to possess.
This isn’t a reincarnation, more like a possession almost. Although since William Kaplan died, the vessel was empty and open for Billy’s soul to inhabit.
I love that Scarlet Witch's story was heavily on her wanting to be a mother and have her nice peaceful family life. Then, Billy's in a way mirroring it with turning to magic to find his family. I found it funny for Eddie to say "Like Aliens?" as a reasoning for the hex, if you know the lore of Teddy aka Hulkling. Tower in reverse when in terms of Future means that one will be able to avert a crisis, being able to be aware of possible hurdles and overcome them with skill. I'm still on the theory that Rio is Lady Death though.
When Lilia says the tower reversed it was the same timing as the hex coming down so I thought maybe that was it. The story of William Kaplan was so sad!
Tower reversed can have a few different meanings. Neglectfulness, distraction, loss and inevitable change are some of them. I think Lilia saw Williams death. But in a more direct way she might've seen Wanda's death (?) as well, since she got crushed by a literal tower
Tower reversed symbolizes resistance to change and holding onto beliefs/information that may no longer serve you. I think it was a representation of this dual identity he has had for 3 years and now that he knows who he truly is, it’s time to let go of William Kaplan and embrace Wiccan.
I need that shirt Agatha is wearing in the interrogation scene! This episode is by far my favourite. It’s emotional and really funny at the same time 💜
Love your reaction! For the record, you know Joe Locke from Heartstopper. (And if you don't, you need to binge that show ASAP, and react to it.) Couple of takeaways for me on this: 1) That black heart text, to me, means that Billy was the other member of the coven that Lilia saw when she made that list, and Rio is actually the outsider. 2) Billy's mindreading ability being constrained to only people who care deeply about him is intriguing. We never saw it that way in Westview, but that makes a lot of sense, because Billy could never sense the subconscious thoughts of the villagers, who didn't care deeply about him, but only the surface thoughts - which, of course, came from Wanda, who did care about him deeply. It makes the fact that "Agnes" was quiet in his head all the more creepy, because I had always assumed it was because she was a witch, but it was actually because Agatha didn't give a damn about the kid. 3) Billy needing to be pissed off to use his blue powers sure does add a layer to what little Billy was feeling when holding down the military soldiers and stopping Hayward's bullet. 4) The Sigil prevented Wanda from detecting him when she had the Darkhold. Which means if Tommy is already in another body, there must have been a Sigil on him as well.
A gay, jewish witch? Shame upon the comments section for not _immediately_ making a reference to Willow Rosenberg from Buffy the Vampire Slayer! 🤣 Also, while William Kaplan is Jewish, so is Billy Maximoff. His Grandaddy is Magneto, after all! It’s probably well known at this point, but Buffy as a show was _heavily_ based on the X-Men. The showrunners have confirmed that Buffy Summers is named after Scott Summers (Cyclops) with the personality of Kitty Pryde. Willow is _entirely_ based on Jean Grey. Faith is based on Elektra. The Mayor is based on Robert Kelly, just to name a few examples of what was confirmed.
Literally! Whedon even did some x men comics back in the day and there was a scrapped reference to buffy where scott references buffy being "my cousin who's in an asylum cause she thinks she fights vampires"
@@rue...whenwasthis For real! I wanted to post a far longer list with more characters and storylines, but I don’t want to spoil the rest of the series for the boys.
MCU Billy Maximoff has no connection to Magneto or the X-Men. He's not his grandfather, and MCU Wanda has no connection to Magneto, X-Men or mutants, either. .In fact, even in current Marvel Comics canon, Wanda is no longer related to Magneto nor is she a mutant.
@@Mirakulus9 I’m making a joke, with the allusion to the comics. That said, the reason the origins changed were famously because the MCU didn’t have the rights to the mutants, but wanted to press ahead with their Avengers movies. Hence calling the twins “enhanced” and having Wanda incorporate a lot of Jean Grey’s character traits into her movie adaption. You are correct though, MCU Wanda has no connection with Magneto as of yet. I’m hoping that it’s revealed that the only reason the twins survived the experiments with the infinity stone was because they were mutants all along. And that their biological father was indeed Magneto. As for Wanda currently - I’m not even sure what she is. They flip flop a lot. Initially she was a mutant. Then an experiment by the high evolutionary. Then a child touched by C’Thon. Then a mutant again. Then not. As for Quicksilver, I don’t think anyone knows at all, because sadly nobody cares. Not unlike the disparity in popularity between Wiccan and Speed.
3:28 The tower reversed is a tarot card, That's why Billy thought it was confuse "I thought you were reading my palm" In tarot, the reversed tower means a dramatic internal battle; it can also mean that the person who took the card is resisting necessary internal changes
When Agatha told Billy he broke the rules, it all clicked for me. The Salem Seven are after him and not Agatha! Remember, he was at the house when they first showed up and was the one (again, not Agatha) that got attacked by them on the road during the broom ritual. Seems to make sense, right? IDK, I could be wrong but I'm sticking to my story...for now LOL.
I think William Kaplan is dead, the only reason his body is still alive might be because Billy came in just as he died. The two boys do have things in common so this was probably destined to happen. If he wasn't dead I think the two souls would be fighting to take over.
Kaplan is dead. We heard his heart slow and then stop completely. It sprang to life again when we hear Maximoff enter it. I think if Kaplan had survived, Billy would’ve been unable to possess it. Like a bicycle, you can’t ride one if someone else is already riding it. You have to wait until it has no rider.
I was both so happy that we got so many answers this episode and so frustrated that we got so little of the story moving forward 😭😩😂 I was shocked that Lilia put the sigil on him And Agatha seemed hurt that he doesn’t trust her and is so against her 😢
I still LOVE Agatha!! She is strong, fierce and focused; always has been. No apologies for surviving- good on her. Billy needs her. He may have power but no clue how to wield it. I can't wait to see Lilia's trial!
Wait a second - because of the sigil Lilia placed on Kaplan, Wanda was unable to find Billy in her universe. Which caused her to run amok in the multiverse and catch bodies everywhere, looking for her children. Making Lilia responsible for the deaths Wanda caused, alongside the death of Wanda herself. Lilia - _truly_ the real villain all along. What a crazy Yellow Diamond. 🤣
I don't think LIlia put the sigil on him purposely. I think she was in a trance when she drew it, just like she was when she made the list. Then the sigil made her forget about it.
@@TheOtterBear61 I was just trying to be funny. Could be she did it in a trance. Could be her future self acting through her. Could have been her wanting to protect Billy. Could’ve been simply so she’d forget the harrowing fact that an innocent boy was going to meet his grisly and unfair death very soon, during a celebration welcoming him to life. Can’t wait until we find out. I’m certain it’s a plot point that will be addressed in the future. Next week can’t come soon enough!
William is definitely dead. You could hear the heart beating slower until it stopped then the voices started. Billy wasted no time jumping into the body 😂
Love all your reactions to this and how fast you guys get right on it! 🤩 Just throwing it out there that if you did a non horror themed spotlight heartstopper reaction we wouldn't be mad at it 😉
Jen and Lilia must still make it back to the road, because the trailers show them in a later trial, and Jen clawing her way out of the soil into what appears to be Westview.
There was a Joe Locke interview in August where he gave away who his character was. He said it would be a superhero who is also openly LGBT in the existing comic book canon and the context made it obvious he was going to be Wiccan/ reincarnated William Maximoff. I'm glad it didn't circulate more and that some people got to enjoy the surprise.
We watched poor William Kaplan die. Then we watched poor 10yo Billy wake up in a 13yo body he doesn't recognise surrounded by people he doesn't know who say they know him - the fact the kid managed to hold it together, let alone choose to hide it so as not to worry his 'parents' - strong in more ways than one.
2:38 he was the yes-man/buttress/enabler for the food critic in THE MENU 😂 my friend was like going "watch ep 6, Billy's dad is kinda hot" and after seeing him i was likeeee "girlll you're judging me for ogling over Josh Hartnett in The Trap but you're all over the spineless yes-man from The Menu??" 😂😂😂
I knew the black heart had to mean something other than Rio. I couldn't think of a reason Lilia's premonition wouldn't just include Rio's name if she was meant to be there. The most likely answer to the black heart now is that it refers to Billy and Lilia wrote him down as a black heart because the sigil prevented her from being able to write his name. But, there is one alternative I can think of that is very unlikely but potentially fun: 'the green witch' is Sharon, Rio and Billy together and they were all meant to perform the role in different ways and at different points. Although, thinking about it, these two aren't really mutually exclusive.
I’m not sure that William Kaplan is totally gone, Billy doesn’t seem to remember anything from before the accident, he doesn’t have either boy’s memories. William Kaplan being a witchcraft nerd like Teen doesn’t feel like just a coincidence. There’s trailer footage with Lilia and Jen we haven’t seen yet, so they’ll probably be back in the next episode. I don’t know why Agatha thinks the mud bath would be fatal for them when it wasn’t for her!
Maybe because Billy is a confirmed witch, and Lilia’s sigil also kept his own memories of his past life as Billy Maximoff in the Hex away from him. Leading to him having no recollection of his life prior to possessing Kaplan. And with Kaplan’s essence gone, he has no prior memories from Kaplan’s life to fall back on.
We heard William Kaplan’s heart stop and then Agatha later confirmed “you saw an empty vessel” and that he “broke the rules.” (Inhabiting a dead body like mentioned in MoM) William Kaplan is dead. Now that the sigil is broken, I think Billy remembers his life in the hex. Hence the “I don’t trust you” to Agatha because of how she manipulated and lied to Wanda throughout WV.
@@justjules15 Maybe, but it’s not like Agatha would really know what happened, and Billy’s trust in Agatha was broken before the sigil was destroyed, when she killed Alice. He hasn’t said anything to suggest his hex memories are restored yet.
@@normaladjacent Agatha is a centuries old witch. I’m sure she’d know of the few only ways for Billy to still exist. Also the sigil hid “Teen’s” identity from all witches, this includes Billy himself. Now that the sigil is lifted, Billy should remember his identity and in turn his life in WandaVision. William is for sure dead though, unfortunately.
@@justjules15 I don’t think we have any reason to believe the sigil kept Billy in the dark. People assumed it was doing that because they theorized Billy cast it himself (and sigils work on the caster), but he didn’t, Lilia did. The sigil didn’t prevent him from learning about William Kaplan or Billy Maximoff, or from trying to figure out his identity. It did prevent other witches from hearing him identify with either name. I’m not sure what memories he’ll end up with, but at this point I’m not sure Billy knows any more than he did before.
TOWER REVERSE I believe it's in refernce of the tarot card. Lilia references another tarot card in the show. LOOK WHAT THIS CARD MEANS: "where the transformation frequently results from outside factors and may even seem imposed upon you (THIS MADE ME THINK OF WANDA'S POWERS). Instead, by publishing The Tower Reversed, you are driving the change and challenging your core morals, principles, and purposes. " (LITERALLY WHAT HAPPENS TO WILLIAM/BILLY)
Idky I’ve had the urge to comment this buttt if you recall the x-men movies, powerful telepaths can transfer their consciousness when they are near death. Wonder if Wanda is so powerful that she unintentionally transferred her children’s consciousness into bodies that were near death/dying and it’s not Billy at all who did it. Tommy isn’t a telepath so how would he survive? I think Wanda did it.
Wanda is not a telepath and is unable to read minds. Billy however, _can_ read minds. The MCU for whatever reason incorporated a lot of Jean Grey into their depiction of Wanda. So it makes things very fuzzy. For instance, Wanda isn’t telekinetic either, despite the movies stating that she can move things with her mind. Wanda’s mutant power is probability manipulation. She can influence the likelihood of immediate events happening. In some comics, notably the Ultimate universe (I believe) she even would have to sit down and calculate the mathematical probability of things before she would be able to act on them. But then again, Wanda’s powers and origin have been retconned a lot. Sadly, it seems she has fallen into the general category of “my power is whatever the writers find convenient at the time.”
@@arc7375 yeah I knew all of this. I was just going by what the MCU has set up as her power set and not the comics since the MCU changes a lot of characters power sets and origins. But I see what you’re saying
Screaming Young Avengers team. Billy Tommy Kate bishop Kamala khan Eli Bradley And I'm gonna be a nerd and say we will get Skarr (hulks son) instead of Hulkling (who's not related to hulk)
yes Sergio as do I and many who don't want the short episodes to end🤣 and crazy billy's hex left gave chills😳and I pray the other witches come back, please get into soon outbreak (1995)
Maybe im missing something? How did Billy's spirit go into teen when the hex dissipated? I thought Wanda's children inside the hex were just constructs
The Tower in the Tarot is considered one of the top 4 WORST cards you can get in a reading. The Tower means imminent destruction and doom to anything your working on or around you, very painful change. However the Tower REVERSED is a bit less damaging, Inner Destruction by Personal growth or Great Trauma. Fitting for this episode given William/Billy's backstory.
Gotta give Billy some slack he was a few days old aged up to 10 then his world collapses and he’s suddenly in the body of a 13 year old with no/few memories recovering from a fatal car crash during the show he is technically 3 years old in the body of a 16 year old.
Those whiners were pulled into the series by Agatha x Rio fan videos, so they do not actually care about the story being told or the MCU in general. It’s actually such a massive disrespect to Kathryn, Aubrey, Joe, the other actresses, the writers,… wanting the series to be reduced to silly little ship show instead of the well written, well acted,… series the cast and crew put together.
Happy "Agatha" Thursday morning with Cody and Sergio! 🔮✨️ Great reaction to another great episode. Really enjoyed this backstory episode for William Kaplan/Billy Maximoff leading up to where we left off in the previous episode. Great seeing Evan Peters again. Already looking forward to the reaction for next week's episode, and for tonight's "Buffy" reactions. 😊
How to judge Billy, his mother fell in love and had 2 children with a robot, so I understand you, Billy, and what good tastes, ugh, I like them dark, Charlie, did you forget about Nick?
@@arc7375 If only there was a really buff, swole young actor with golden retriever energy like Teddy who's already proven to have great romantic in screen chemistry with Joe Locke. If only...... ....Oh, wait a minute
Oh. Joe Locke, who plays Billy, also stars in another show on Netflix, Heartstopper. It's a young queer romance show with good well written and well acted representation, but it also focuses on subjects relating to mental health. Anyway Charlies boyfriend on the show, Nick, played by the very talented Kit Conner is very buff and swole, but also very adorable and sweet, in other words, perfect for Hulkling, especially since he and Joe already have proven romantic chemistry, as well as being a great actor in his own right. In fact, I think the writer of the Heartstopper comics is a fan of Wiccan and Hulkling and used them for inspiration. If you can't be bothered watching the show, there's hundred of videos and clips on youtube, look for Nick Nelson, or Nick and Charlie. Be prepared for tears if you come across season 3 clips. You can also read the comic for free on Tapas.
@@nickyutzy4788 Much like X-Men 97, they’re condensing and streamlining decades of stories and lore (and countless retcons) to create a far tighter, more concise and elegant adaption. Maximoff’s unembodied soul possessing the empty, newly dead body of Kaplan is a great way to introduce the character. There was no way they could adapt the comics directly, and have Wanda create the boys from magic she got from Agatha after she died, who were actually secret pieces of Mephisto’s soul, who were then located and sent back I time to be reborn as babies to new parents.
Curious Quastion. Do you think it matters that Joe Locke isn't Jewish. The reason I ask is because I remember at one point some people on social media were complaining about it, there were even rumours that Marvel was considering recasting. I personally think it doesn't matter as long as the culture is respected, but I'm not Jewish. And at certain points, you just have to go for the right actor, and Joe looks almost exactly like Billy in the comics. Having said that, there is one Jewish actor that's the same age, has the right look and is bisexual. Joshua Rush from Disney's Andi Mack. He would have been good. David Mazouz might have worked as well. But I love Joe Locke. Heartstopper and Agatha All Along are literally his only two acting Jobs not including theatre and he has been phenomenal in both. He was also really good on Broadway in Sweeney Todd. He's definitely a rising star.
@@datlilbeanch5477But believe it or not, SOME people would actually have not given him a love interest at all; ESPECIALLY when There’s so much sexual tension between Agatha and Rio lol
What a reductive take. Are we forgetting that Rio and Agatha are a pair of volatile exes, not happy girlfriends? Rio has literally threatened to kill Agatha more than once on this show. Their relationship is a lot more complicated and plot significant than Billy’s relationship with his boyfriend, who we’ll probably never see again. It’s still being unraveled. The trailers show that we have Agatha/Rio Salem flashbacks and a huge showdown between two of them still to come. Let the show cook!
"I'm not that nice" - okay hear me out. What if that car accident wasn't an accident? It's a *huge* coincidence that a boy named William/Billy died so close to and in the exact moment that Billy Maximoff and his brother were wiped out. Wanda was known to be ready to kill to "protect" her family, it wouldn't be too far off to believe at least one of her sons would act the same way, at least unconsciously. So yes, I believe Billy killed William. And furthermore I don't think he'll be able to find Tommy at the end of the Witches Road because Tommy didn't have any reality warping ability. I think it's more likely he might find Wanda, since she is the key to bringing Tommy back
Billy or Wanda wouldn't kill him because she's gone mad after using darkhold after leaving Westview, it was more like something to do with Rio, Lilia gave the Jacket to someone and it could be Rio we didn't see her face, and car came in the wrong direction out of nowhere, maybe death was coming for William and took his life, and billy got into the body, tommy is out there because billy can sense it only he can't find him😊
@CoralAries-fc7jr Wanda threatened anyone who endangered her Westview fantasy even before she got the darkhold. E.g. after the drone incident, she aimed guns at the agents outside. And she almost killed Mr Hart because he referenced something from "outside"
@@fuzzyapple because she didn't know what she was doing, in the finale, she couldn't trust people were suffering that's why she said to Agatha " you're making her say this", she genuinely didn't know she was controlling and hurting them, she was angry at sword but didn't kill anyone outside, and about Mr hart , it was her subconscious mind, she didn't do it on purpose
I think it was Ralph speeding away from the Hex that drove into the Kaplans and caused them to swerve. Magic takes the path of least resistance, according to Rio. So maybe it was just convenient that the moment the Hex was dismantled, Billy’s soul found the first empty, soulless dead body that was able to be possessed.
This is very unrelated but I am curious if William Kaplan was also gay before Billy’s soul took over or if William was straight before and because Billy took over his sexuality transferred. It probably will never get answered but it does interest me
In the comics, William Kaplan was born with Billy Maximoff’s soul from the start. So it’s always been that he’s gay. In AAA, it’s very unclear, because Billy’s soul inhabits and possesses the dead, empty body of Kaplan after he dies. But looking at his bedroom, and going purely on admittedly very well-known gay staples, it’s implied that Kaplan was also gay.
@@XOrange_crushXYeah that’s an interesting thought. In WandaVision Wanda kept the children of Westview “asleep” except for Halloween (and they were mind controlled then). The only person their age Billy or Tommy ever interacted with was each other and they are brothers so we don’t witness them have childhood crushes or anything that would give an indication of Billy’s sexuality at that time. Another commenter said that William Kaplan seemed like he was gay and I agree, but that was just the vibe I got and not confirmed by the show.

It also implies that the voice Wanda heard at the end of WandaVision was Tommy and not Billy, as he was already alive again.
omg and yes🥺 , I never seen Wanda vision but knowing by this wholesome siblings dynamic hope he finds Tommy so cute
@arc7375 I thought that too, Tommy probably got stuck or in trouble somewhere.
She chose a town full of strangers over her own flesh and wires!
Love it when reactors pay attention to details and understand the story cause it shows. Loved getting to know Billy's origin story, Joe Locke and Kathryn Hahn were incredible. Great reaction.

-Agatha All Along- *_Wiccan All The While!_*
What an episode.
The twist of Lilia sigiling him, we did NOT see coming
@@graphiquejack yeah I think the green witch trial will be his, not Rio's
@@georgeweatherford1027yeah and I think it makes sense for him to be the green witch since he knows a lot about analog magick aka actual witchcraft
(the fact the Joe could manage this level at 19, in his THIRD acting job EVER is... shudder!)
As for Lilia and the sigil...
“Got it… Got it.” 😢
I did notice once in the credits if you look close by Kathryn’s name frame in background letters it says quickly “I can’t die” or something like that, which has me wondering about many things and if that’s why she was able to climb out of the mud.
I like the little Easter egg when he was texting his boyfriend and he called Billy his 🖤 which tells me Billy is a green witch and rio now being confirmed as lady death was just playing along…
YOU ARE RIGHT!!! ABOUT BLACK HEART!! LILIA CANT WRITE HIS NAME ON THE PAPER THATS WHY SHE WROTE A BLACK HEART!!! BILLY IS A GREEN WITCH!!!
Almost! I dont think hes a green witch, because his magic is like Wandas. Its reality altering/ chaos magic.
I think they just dont have a green witch
“Agatha Harkness is an ancient witch that will f your shit up!” Period 🙌🏼 Teen flashback. Lilia was there! So Lilia drew the sigil? 🤯 The car wreck was wild. Officer Alice! He can hear thoughts? That car scene w/ Eddie 💚 Jenn in there too! Love seeing all the pieces come together. Ralph Boner cameo. Bonerific69? 😂 His Agatha research montage 🖤 Seeing the interrogation scene from this view makes it 10x funnier when she randomly kicks him 💀 That Billy/Agatha ending scene 🖤 So he’s after Tommy. are you doing a summary or something?
He’s had mind reading powers since wandavision
@@laramiaizzOf my thoughts on the episode? Yes…and? 💁🏽♀️
I'm still on the theory that Rio is Lady Death though.
yea
In tarot reading, the reversed tower is a reluctance to personal transformation.
The tower reversed means that someone might be resisting change/holding on to old beliefs that no longer help them
Tower reversed symbolizes resistance to change and holding onto beliefs/information that may no longer serve you. I think it was a representation of this dual identity he has had for 3 years and now that he knows who he truly is, it’s time to let go of William Kaplan and embrace Wiccan.
I need that shirt Agatha is wearing in the interrogation scene!
This episode is by far my favourite. It’s emotional and really funny at the same time 💜
Pitch a tent!
her outfits satire in all 😍is everything
Love your reaction! For the record, you know Joe Locke from Heartstopper. (And if you don't, you need to binge that show ASAP, and react to it.)
Couple of takeaways for me on this:
1) That black heart text, to me, means that Billy was the other member of the coven that Lilia saw when she made that list, and Rio is actually the outsider.
Loving these reactions and all of the other reactions, literally your reactions makes my day!
A gay, jewish witch? Shame upon the comments section for not _immediately_ making a reference to Willow Rosenberg from Buffy the Vampire Slayer! 🤣
Also, while William Kaplan is Jewish, so is Billy Maximoff.
Funny because I'm watching season 6 of buffy right now.
3:28 The tower reversed is a tarot card, That's why Billy thought it was confuse "I thought you were reading my palm"
In tarot, the reversed tower means a dramatic internal battle; it can also mean that the person who took the card is resisting necessary internal changes
Why would they be after him? Even rio said the 7 wanted revenge
Lilia draw a black heart on the list because she couldn't know his name thanks to sigil
The Tower is a tarot card meaning destruction, upheaval and sudden change. Reversed, it means personal transformation.
2:38 for me he will be always Cooper from Private Practice ❤
I was both so happy that we got so many answers this episode and so frustrated that we got so little of the story moving forward 😭😩😂
I was shocked that Lilia put the sigil on him
And Agatha seemed hurt that he doesn’t trust her and is so against her 😢
Imagine being Wanda practicing dark magic for 3 years to find her sons and one of them has been in east view this entire time😂😭
*_The Blame Lies With Lilia._*
I think the reason wanda couldn't find or sense Billy was because of the sigil, it block all witches from him. So Lilia cause MoM lol.
I still LOVE Agatha!! She is strong, fierce and focused; always has been. No apologies for surviving- good on her. Billy needs her. He may have power but no clue how to wield it. I can't wait to see Lilia's trial!
This one was a perfect fit for your reactions... Love seeing it. 😊
Ive always thought it was either going to be Wanda or Tommy. But i think Tommy makes it more emotional because he loves and misses his twin!
Yeah she cause MoM lol
William is definitely dead. You could hear the heart beating slower until it stopped then the voices started. Billy wasted no time jumping into the body 😂
Love all your reactions to this and how fast you guys get right on it! 🤩 Just throwing it out there that if you did a non horror themed spotlight heartstopper reaction we wouldn't be mad at it 😉
Jen and Lilia must still make it back to the road, because the trailers show them in a later trial, and Jen clawing her way out of the soil into what appears to be Westview.
I think Agatha knows darn well that Lilia and Jen are not dead. She’s manipulating him using his guilt.
You guys should also watch Grotesqurie that’s an insane show
lol the pictures of flowers were absolutely not of Sharon’s, they were herbs front yard, you see him trimming the same bushes in episode 2

my friend was like going "watch ep 6, Billy's dad is kinda hot" and after seeing him i was likeeee "girlll you're judging me for ogling over Josh Hartnett in The Trap but you're all over the spineless yes-man from The Menu??" 😂😂😂
Love this episode seeing Bill’s perspective the interrogation was hilarious 😂😂 and who put the sigil on him
This has been my favorite episode. It was so good.
the yellow flower photo's are from dottie's lawn
William
Kaplan being a witchcraft nerd like Teen doesn’t feel like just a coincidence.
The wanda verse in marvel ❤

The people complaining about this episode on TikTok are so annoying
Those whiners were pulled into the series by Agatha x Rio fan videos, so they do not actually care about the story being told or the MCU in general.
It’s actually such a massive disrespect to Kathryn, Aubrey, Joe, the other actresses, the writers,… wanting the series to be reduced to silly little ship show instead of the well written, well acted,… series the cast and crew put together.
Happy "Agatha" Thursday morning with Cody and Sergio! 🔮✨️

Sharon was also. Not a witch

Tower in tarot means a lot a bad things gonna happen reversed means it will be worse
This is not correct. If a Tarot card is _reversed_ it means the opposite of what the card would normally mean.
The fact that we got a mlm kiss before a wlw one in THIS show ? Groundbreaking and a big plot twist 💀💀
I mean he is the male lead
@@datlilbeanch5477But believe it or not, SOME people would actually have not given him a love interest at all; ESPECIALLY when There’s so much sexual tension between Agatha and Rio lol
@@datlilbeanch5477But she's THE lead...if that's your point
I mean it's not the first time we see Two men kiss in the MCU I mean it happened in the Eternals movie too
What a reductive take.
@@arc7375 if Ralph was responsible for William's death, that would be interesting, and one hell of a twist
ji wonder if billy was able to switch because he has magic. but tommy doesn't so maybe tommy is with mephesto....
who knows🤷🏽♀ could be
This is very unrelated but I am curious if William Kaplan was also gay before Billy’s soul took over or if William was straight before and because Billy took over his sexuality transferred.
I mean he definitely became goth after
@@arc7375 I kinda like the idea of his soul only taking over after William died it makes more sense to me than him being there the whole time
yea thought of that also
@@XOrange_crushXYeah that’s an interesting thought.
QUESTION?
WILL YOU CUT OUT BILLYS RELATIONSHIP AS MOST RUclips CHANNELS,
WHICH WERE OK WITH THE * EXUAL CHEMISTRY BETWEEN WOMEN.
Billy is perhaps the highest-profile and celebrated gay character in Marvel. And the channel is helmed by two gay men. I don’t think selective homophobia is going to be a realistic issue one would encounter here.
kinda bummed that i didn't really like this episode. the coven is my favourite part of this show, so billy has never really been a character of interest for me, he's always just kinda been on the sidelines. getting a whole forty minute episode just about him i was like "eh" lol
