Of course, the given armor will not allow them to be penetrated if the tank is standing straight, but when making additional turns, these same cheeks become at a right angle, and they can easily be penetrated by an enemy with an armor penetration of more than 200 mm.
The IS-6 has two main advantages - armor and a 122 mm gun, which is capable of inflicting 390 damage. average damage per shot. Since this is a preferential tank, it will play more often with vehicles of the same level, which means that such damage with a more than comfortable reload will allow you to earn a lot of silver. But the weapon also has disadvantages. The convergence and spread will only allow you to play at close distances, but this is not the main disadvantage. Armor penetration with a basic 186 mm projectile is the main drawback of the advice. Not only will it be difficult to target weak areas of armored opponents with such precision, but you also need to penetrate them. Moreover, this indicator was improved in a recent update. Before this, armor penetration with a basic shell was 175 mm, which is very little for playing against levels 8 and 9. But you need to accept all the characteristics of the IS-6, such as they are, and adapt based on them. This tank will feel comfortable only on the front line, namely on the 1st line. Moreover, good reloading will serve as an advantage not only in positional firefights, but also in breakthroughs of enemy defenses. The armor of Soviet equipment is quite enough to hold back even level 9 projectiles. But it is best to cover the lower frontal part, since it is traditionally the thinnest for all vehicles in the game. Since the gun tilts only -6 degrees, it is better to play behind small hillocks or embankments. Also, do not forget about good side armor, which is best used in city maps. But if the enemy often aims at the cheeks of the body, then it is recommended to change position or stance.

В нынешних реалиях просто неиграбельный кусок и халявный дамаг для противника. Ему бы голду хоть до 250 поднять, потому что с его нынешним пробоем он половину ТТ никуда пробить не может. Я его на Крайслере разбираю на "ура", даже жалко оппонента.

Норм танк одел в боновую оборудку полностью так как оставлю в ангаре
Пробитие слабое, в целом середнячоек
Сыграл боёв десять и бросил. Выцеливать лючки сложно а выцелил в 90% случаях не пробил. А бочину враги подстовляют неохотно.
