you're awesome bro this is amazing
Well done!
This is awesome! This deserve soooo much love!
I have no idea what is happening but I'm in
Woah this would be cool with a theremin?????
Yep, would definitely be able to get some theremin-y sounds out of it especially once I do the keyboard with it's smooth slide feature; or even the Seaboard could do it until then
Loved watching this! Awesome!
Keep up the excellent work! Really cool to see this! ;-)
Ive always wanted this because I have a spinal cord injury and want to use my mouth where I cant use a foot
Man, I didn't even think of the accessibility uses of this! If you want something for yourself, I'd recommend checking out the "Photon" mouthpiece by IMOXPLUS - it's a project my dad found after I started this and we've both been keeping an eye on it; they're currently doing beta testing and are a lot closer to the production stage than I am. Theirs and mine are fairly different in form, and in the other sensors on-board, but independent breath control is the main component of both.
Can you provide the CAD files and the python script for the Arduino?
On my to-do list! Publishing CAD and code and music for all my projects is a big step that's been a long time coming, and it's my goal to do it this year 😊
Would it be possible to get a link to what kind of tubing you used?
I'm building a midi wind instrument and this is pretty helpful for figuring out the pressure sensor stuff.
Awesome to hear you're making one! If I remember right I just got the tubing from my local hardware store which sells it by the foot, I'm sure you can have similar luck. Just bring whatever you're trying to fit, and see what fits best!
@@davisdiercks thanks!
25 years ago I started to find a solution or a person for MIDIficate a HOHNER MELODICA.
Are you willing & able to construct that solution... and stell it afterwards?
Not completely sure what you're asking, but this will essentially be able to function like an electronic melodica, plus a lot more expressive controls. If prototyping goes well I may end up trying to sell it, but that's a long way off. For now this is just a personal passion-project, and inspiration for others to make something of their own 😉
@@davisdiercks He may be thinking of something like this

In your video you mentioned that you wanted to make something like a ROLI keyboard. About 10 years ago a guy named Dr Andrew McPherson at Queen Mary University of London released his project called TouchKeys.

You may want to look into this. Bela board is also a part of what he has been doing and they have a forum on there website where people are making instruments that you may be interested in.

Anyway food for thought. Glad someone out there wants to make this kind of hardware. Good luck!
