I remember laying in the bed of my pickup truck at night looking at the stars until the sun came up and listening to this song with my girlfriend when we were in high school. We’re engaged now.

One of the best moments of my life was when this came on as we were driving out of Summer Meltdown. Hitting the road in my van with all the mountains around us and the good vibes from the festival. Just made me feel like throwing everything away and keep driving... then I had to pay rent... faaak

You can really hear the 80's influences in this - early The Cure comes to mind, especially with the guitar layering. I used to listen to this song a lot when I was in late high school. I think I appreciate it even more now that it's been so long.
