    Thanks for showing the product.
I did buy the smart TV player, and although I had some difficulties downloading the KODI app (probably I wasn't experienced enough as it was my first time; the device's only fault is that it didn't come pre-installed), but ever since it is working like a charm. I also like the auto sleep function when the TV is turned off.
Its predecessor was a H96 MAX with Android 11 & a RK3566 chip, and the difference in speed and crisp display is already visible.
I don't understand exactly how the AI-driven 4k upscaling attempts work, but they look convincing.
The only slight drawback is that the slots are at the back - as opposed to the side in its predecessor - but it is only a little nag when I change the external hard drive once a week.

Can you tell me what is the difference between the H96 Max M9 and the H96 Max M9S?
Is it only a color difference? Or just a different remote? Or was there any change in the hardware parameters, features or capabilities?

      Hello
      I've ordered both boxes now
I've seen that the black one is just different in color and has a different remote control, but the technology is the same as far as I've seen.
I'll sell the blue one later because I like the black one better, also because of the remote control, which I like better on the black one.

I think that you are correct. No big difference, between difference exists on the appearance and also remotes.

@@gianniformica8235 No, it runs on generic Android OS. As a comparison, if Google-certified Androidtv OS is demanded, some tv box devices of MECOOL series can be considered, like KM2 PLUS DELUXE, etc. Sure, KM2 PLUS DELUXE runs on Google-certified Androidtv 11.0. www.ebay.com/itm/305282561557 . @@gianniformica8235 Actually, most tv box devices on market run on generic Android OS rather than certified OS, since the latter will undoubtedly ask for extra charge collected by involved party.

In user manual it says "TF card support 256 gb". But I don't see the card slot. Can you please check for sure, if this TV box has a card slot?

Surprise. To be blunt, I didn't read the manual file itself, since it is always equivalent to almost all Android tv box devices on market, and I guess that all these manual papers are printed based on one simple template. As far as I see, it seems that M9 or M9s don't have card slot on its design. Actually, right now I also specially talked with manager of H96, talking with him about it. It is a wrong printing on this point.

No card slot design on either M9 tv box device, or M9s tv box device.

It is confirmed as above, after my own talk with H96 manager. Wrong printing here.
