They sound like of Monty python were to make holy grail the movie today they would use these headphones to make horse gallop noises instead of coconuts
I love how they tried to turn a design/manufacturing flaw into a selling point. They clearly know the paint will start to come off quickly so they doubled down and said "it's not a bug, it's a feature" and included sandpaper lmao
HD599se's have been $80 on Amazon many times in the recent year or so. X2HR was $70. HD280 Pro is usually under $100. SuperLux has several well tuned options for about $30.
If this Headphone by Moondrop is named "Joker", Audio Technica M50x is a Joke. Merely because you feel AT M50 is a tad better, there is no need to recommend it. I was stupid at one time to buy the AT, which even after considerable Burn-in, I found totally unbearable, and consigned them to the garbage bin.
M50x is a joke thats right, I was really thrown back from AT products but guess what now I own ADX5000 top of the line of open back and I love them. So now AT got my respect back, R70 is also really good option but with that stupid wing system
You sound great on the videos. All I will say about Moondrop after trying four IEMs and one pair of headphones is that they really should focus on quality over quantity.
Thanks for the feedback. I think the quality over quantity challenge should be addressed by most of the common Chinese brands. They keep churning out new models and often without any significant improvement - just new for the sake of new it seems.
Really enjoying my IEM's (S12's, HEXA's) paired to (B-pin modded) CCA BTX's or KZ AZ09 Pro's. The cabled planar headphones have been collecting dust, of late.
Maybe he only looked at the pictures? 🤷😁 Honestly though, they are probably fairly robust from a longevity perspective - they just feel really, really cheap
It's unlikely, I'm afraid. FiiO got a new PR person and he's decided to stop sending gear to me because the channel isn't big enough or something similar. ☹️

LOL. So true
You sound great.
Thank you. I've been playing with mic placement and might have gotten it even better than this in some of the videos yet to be released. Let me know 🙂

LOL. If it weren't for the brass underneath offering what should be a very attractive finish, I'd agree with you. As it is, I love the idea.

I was going to mention that last time, Lachlan. This is much better audio than the last video you almost sounded underwater in that one.
Thanks Shane. Yeah, I've been trying to improve the audio lately. I've got even better sound coming soon (IMO)

The akg k361 would be a good alternative
Pure music to my ears 🎉

@@PassionforSound So true. I almost called the Joker ' the same ole Schiit different name. :)
I hope Moondrop doesn't totally drop the brass aging-by-design aesthetic and put it on something better. I'm often fond of that weathered vibe.
I agree. It's an excellent concept
Thanks for the review.
My pleasure
I hope these will be bad enough for him to trash them😅
Edit2: Oh, it was pretty clear at the end.
Yep, not my most positive conclusion 😁

Glad your enjoying them
i still consider Moondrop only as an iem company..... think the packaging alone costs 1/4 of the total production
The packaging was pretty cheap here too! 😁
And DMS baby claims that it's better built than K371
Maybe he only looked at the pictures? 🤷😁

Brassing in Leica speak.
They can do a good headphone..at least on par with their better IEM’s 🤔
You'd hope so, but not yet...
Hi can you please review the fiio jt1? Thanks.

@@PassionforSound ohh. I see. That's a shame. But I still love your videos. Keep it up.
🤨
Yep 🙂
