Can someone explain what London means by being "comped" since he was new?
He likely was given money to travel, and maybe for hotels, to start him off with the company. Other wrestlers were trying to take advantage of the situation not waste money needless by riding and potentially staying with Paul. That's my assumption.

London was a new signee at that time. So, WWE gave him a rental car and hotel stay on WWE's dime to start him off til he settle in and make his own money to pay for his travel expenses. Like the other guy said, the other wrestlers who's been with WWE for a while knew the situation to freeload off of London's comps.

This was most likely in late-2003 when London signed with WWE, hence why he got comps, and OJ was probably a few months in or was signed the previous year when OJ was fresh in the wrestling world. So yeah, the Rock probably called him to check on him.
