Knowing L.A. I'm surprised the earthquake emergency message wasn't, "Attention! Earthquake! Run to your nearest door frame! No don't use the door frame Bob Vila said that door frames don't hold up in a collapse! Well so does the rest of the building if the frame is collapsing! Well what do we do? Uhhh.. hold on! Get safe! Don't sue us!"
Don't get in the tub! Heard horror stories that the tub did its job when everything collapsed on it with person safely tucked in. Then the broken pipes filled the tub and the person drowned in their tub cage.

Hearing you talk about Halifax in such a beautiful way, freaking warms my heart. I’m from Scotia, I had to move to stupid freaking Alberta now. (The Texas of Canada). 🤦♀️ it sucks. You’ve just reminded me of how incredible it is back home. Hope to move back when my situation changes. ❤

Halifax is my hometown, and even though hardly anybody we know is still there I would love to retire there someday.

Great hometown! And they are doing it right! I wish I could become a Canadian citizen, but it's like the old joke - I would probably hate it with the bar low enough that I could be there.
@@mikegibbons6650 lol yeah I'd hate any club that would have me as a member. glad to hear you dug it. if you encountered the huge park located next to downtown, that's the Commons - setting of countless childhood baseball games, running from bigger kids, and my brother calling us in cause he'd just rented Cliffhanger (that one I remember specifically)!

Dick Van Dyke didn't win an emmy, but he would have, making him oldest Emmy recipient, had he been included as one of several producers who won for his special. He'd have beatent Norman Lear by two months which glad didn't happen cuz guys not putting out emmy winning performances while Lear won at 98 for producing those amazing live-aired episodes of his old sitcoms with stars playing the characters
