Your video and tips are great but as a foreign born Indian could someone explain why Indians mix English and Hindi all the time. Just make a video either in full English or full Hindi. This unnecessary switching makes it very annoying to listen to.
Because we read it that way and we learned English that way. Most Indians are officially trilinguals. I know 3 languages because India has 2 official languages and my state speaks a completely different language. Different states have their own dialects to their languages, like my mother tongue (that basically means the official language that my state speaks) is Odia. But my dialect is also my mother tongue. However, my dialect emerges from the district of Kalahandi. Yet, I know 4 more dialects of the Odia language, apart from *Kalahandia*. Technically, I know 3 languages and 5 dialects of the 3rd language. But but but... Now that we are watching this video, you can see that this guy is definitely not speaking Odia. He is speaking Hindi, with a bit of Punjabi/Haryanvi tone in it. Now North India speaks a multitude of dialects, out of approximately 20,000 dialects or mother tongues that are spoken in India. English is just a part of those languages, and it is an official language. And since people use their mother tongue, with a mixture of Hindi (the ones who live in the extreme east, west, or south sides of India) and a lot of English to convey their message. *Why do Indians mix English and Hindi and all other languages while speaking all the time?* Because we freaking love it. We learned the meanings of English words in Hindi, and in our mother tongues. *Does the entire nation speak the same way?* No, definitely not. But they speak in the way they are used to. Like the people in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and many South Indian states, they speak a mixture of South Indian and English. That is so because they learned English that way. *Does it make the video annoying?* Nope. We love it when the speaker switches his/her language, as long as they are speaking the dialects which we understand. I cannot understand Marathi or Gujarati, so I'll either turn on the subs or find a different video. But there of thousands of people who understand those languages, those mixtures, and relate to the speaker emotionally, so they listen to them. *What should persons like you do, when there is a video which is created this way and no other video is made with any better explanation?* Either leave it and find a video that speaks in one language throughout the video. Or, politely ask the creator to add subtitles. Either thing cost you nothing. Thanks for making it this far. By the way, many deathcore bands like Slaughter To Prevail have lyrics in two or more languages.
