《孤芳不自賞》由克頓傳媒藍鯨靈工作室、派樂影視傳媒、樂視視頻、花花草草工作室聯合出品，派樂影視傳媒承製，鞠覺亮執導，張永琛擔任總編劇，趙建瓴擔任總制片人。鍾漢良、楊穎（Angelababy）、甘婷婷、孫藝洲、于波、麥迪娜、亓航、 鄧莎等聯袂主演。
電視劇《孤芳不自賞》改編自風弄同名小說，講述了一個戰亂頻繁、分合無定的亂世之下，戰無不勝的晉國鎮北王楚北捷和聰慧無雙的燕國「女諸葛」白娉婷之間的愛情故事。
本劇於2017年1月2日湖南衛視首播。
則尹上兵營演講台演講護國大論的時候那個氣勢完輸楚北捷，之前楚北捷跟軍營兄弟介紹自己的夫人白娉婷並非妖女的時候，還有護大晉時再還有軍營兄弟因為鎮北王為了一個女人出兵打白蘭的時候上台演講的時候還有敬兄弟們一杯酒摔碗那楚北捷獨有的氣勢都帥炸天！根本沒人可以比的

This drama has made Chinese History relevant to present times. We sometimes look on history as those old ways in the past but, when we look deeper on the way the people lived, their beliefs and superstitions, their moral measurement based on their conscience, cultural upbringing, personal experiences and spiritual growth; they are not much different to present times.
I always loved historical dramas and if is woven with the grandeur of nature and the people living with it, becomes magical. Chinese historical dramas portrays visual vastness of the land, haunting music and themes, beautiful and handsome actors, cultural style and dress of the times, beliefs, etiquettes and moral ethics that is uniquely Chinese but at the same time reflects a universality that is relevant to modern times especially to Asian people outside the borders of China.
Although, my blood is a mix of races ( the East (Chinese), the South ( Malay), the West ( Spanish, Portuguese, Algeria), it made me appreciate my lineage on the Chinese-side and dig-out the past to pay homage to my Chinese Ancestors. Those lighted incenses with their wooden smell reflects the wonders of China.
Thank you very much, Croton MEGAHIT, for taking the time in placing English Subtitles episode per episode which is indeed a big feat in itself. It made me realize that my world is not necessarily dominated by Western Culture but rather is a conglomerate of cultures that includes the Eastern Culture from mainland China. I think it is time for me to brush-up on my Mandarin. I hope in due time, I will be able to read and write sufficient Mandarin.🤗😎

有战争，有谋略，有英雄，有美人，有铁血，有柔情， 有端庄，有戏谑。。。回肠荡气。Baby很有主角气场， 纵然美女环绕，依然不输气势。钟汉良在这部戏里没有让他的外表宣宾夺主令观众分心，令观众看到的是镇北王而非钟汉良。各位次主角与配角也各显神通各自精彩，给这部戏宽度与深度。画面唯美，音乐动情。少有的好戏。

They are all such great actors the men act as real men and soooo bloody handsome. It leaves me in awe at how the Chinese portray emotion with so much passion be it ruthless, love, humility and strength. Not all cultures can bring these emotions to the screen as naturally and as deep as the Chinese and Korean cultures do.

Now its almost ending, I cant help but think, I wont ever be watching anymore drama after this.Jesus Christ , this drama is exhausting and- draining and equally fantastic despite the silly cheesy moments and some real FUNNY sequences or flying silk and gossamer gowns and hair flowing around like some damn silk curtain etc etc.. Im now officially a Wallace Chung fan- come on ! Who can kiss better than him in any dramas! WHO WHO! tell me .. its embarassing but that kiss scene in ep 54 was lol... I slowed it down to it slowest.. just to catch the tongue.. lol. he really gave it to Angela Baby!

前三十集楚北捷追白聘婷到成親是精華，緊湊又甜蜜，後來是有點拖，到44集趕狼越山那幾集是可以跳過，再來復國之路，就是看我們帥氣的鎮北王還有那想撲上去的美唇29:23可以停幾分幻想一下，拖戲也覺得劇組很用心，還是值得觀賞到劇終。此劇華服的精緻，主配樂的文采，還有取景的自然，斯殺的豪邁都可媲美臥虎藏龍手法，劇本小瑕疵是不會讓人覺得如坐針氈。沒耐心的觀眾就看到他們成親那集也很完美。本人前十集就倒看好幾遍

People love this drama so much and make sense to gather here to discuss about the details of it every day. Yet, someone claimed "they hate it", but they STILL stick here to watch and even waste their time to read " every comments" of this drama and even write comments to "attack " others who simply love this drama. Sunny and Selvi: I think I'm going to be depressed after this Drama.. The end episode is BITTERSWEET. Its a happy ending of course but not for one- the most tragic character of all ..HeXia.. I actually shed a tear for him ! There will be a lot of comments about the last episode, but Ill tell you this. Im no greenhorn on Dramas- I probably have seen a lot of em and I MEAN LOT... there are at least 4 that are really unforgettable and this is one of them..

是呀。現在是2019年，我已是在欣賞第四次了。我就是在TVB播十面圍城及此劇時，喜歡看鍾漢良的劇呢。
这部剧真的好看特別是裡面的歌曲我这麼久還忘不了，但女主真的一言难尽，虽然后面有变好

I don't often watch historic dramas. I don't have the patience for the many episodes, but this was so worth it. I did not even skip a single episodes. I loved and enjoyed every part of this drama. If you are thinking about watching. Just watch it.
Their favourite song is now mine too. The one she plays on the zither. Not sure of spelling. That scene when he was playing the song and she heard it and came to him in episode 57.

This drama also portrayed how wives of military men lives either in history or at present. It takes more understanding and bravery to be a wife of a military man.
I understand Ping Ting's 'for the greater good' she always seems to choose, but darn it, she has hurt Beiji way too much. He never deserved to be treated so unfairly in the last 4 years by her. Sometimes the love of a good man should be enough to not sacrifice it again and again. She doesn't give him as much credit as he deserves. He was not called the God Of War for nothing.

Yang Feng and Ze Yin are my favourite couple from this drama. Both of them have such a sweet temperament and a beautiful marriage evan more then the protagonists.

I dont know much about chinese drama... this is my second chinese drama after "The king's woman"..and i would like to say this is far better than the former...although its too long with 62 ep.s but still..... i love to see this... and PLEASE GOD I PRAY TO YOU MAKE WALLACE CHUNG AND ANGELABABY UNITE IN REAL LIFE...
