Initially I too thought angelababy isn't a good choice for ping ting. However as the drama progressed I could see exactly why she was casted. She is delicate yet has an authoritative air to herself... Her acting is perfect for Bai ping ting (I don't know know why people alsay she can't act). Her expressions and how she sighs with grief or when contented, her smile her eyes when she looks at BeiJei... everything is on point....now I cannot imagine anyone else for this role. She is the perfect Bai Ping Ting ❤️

Because CBJ only has little solders compared to HX 300K, he has to exercise a lot of military traps and strategies. On the way to city, HX camped in the middle of the way for a rest. Meanwhile, he sent his fellow Dong Zhuo to spy and check on the camp site of Bailan General Chi Tian. What Dong Zhuo saw is CBJ was fighting with General CT and CT was defeated by CBJ then ran away. With Dong Zhuo witness and CT's loyalty statement sworn by his life, HX now gained more trust on CT, therefore he assigned CT as the lead for his LEFT WING Bailan crew. This is one of the best battle scenes in Cdrama. All the fight in this drama was well choreographed. My favorite scenes are Chu Bai Jie and He Xia fights every fight scene of them is amazing. Wish someone could make an edit of all their fights scene.
No matter how heartless He Xia is , he seems so weak n nostalgic whenever he has to deal with Ping Ting, he still loves her so much as his childhood sweetheart. He Xia never really loves Princess just feel guilty causing her death by taking poison on his behalf and took away her throne

This is one of the best battle scenes in Cdrama. All the fight in this drama was well choreographed. My favorite scenes are Chu Bai Jie and He Xia fights every fight scene of them is amazing. Wish someone could make an edit of all their fights scene.

He only had guilt for killing princess but not his child.

I do think at one point he truly loved Pingting but he got so blinded by revenge and hatred that he doesn't know how to deal. He Xia is a very sad character in my opinion... I say once again his father set him onto this horrible and deadly path
I agree,Herxia had only ping thing in deep heart,eventually show that he paid for his life to get her alive same his wife yoatien did sacrificed her life for him also,can’t say chubijia is the one most love her still think Herxia really sad for his story in the last episode reply he much more love ping thing than chubijia unconditional ,really hard to say chubijia love her less than Herxia also. But with out pinthing still don’t have Jin state till chubijia become the king .
