That voice is Alan Roach, PA Announcer for the Vikings & Avalanche. Was the Broncos PA Announcer before going over to the Vikings and has done many of the most recent Super Bowls.

Those jingles that play before announcements were once part of an art project back in the 1990s or 2000s known as _Train Call_ .

Oh neat! That explains why they're so unique! It's a shame it seems like they're starting to be replaced.

The last audio change on the train actually happened around 4 years ago, they just never finished the correct programming. The first announcement and the one at 0:54 are the 2007 male recordings, but the train you're on is supposed to have only the new 2018 female voice on it. They just screwed up the programming and never cared to fix it.
Another point to note is that I noticed other people asking about the old voices, I think they're actually referring to the 1995-2007 (original) voices which also had different, more unique musical chimes. There are very few recordings of those.

That's all good to know! I wasn't aware of the newer 2018 voices until I got on to record that train and I didn't have the time to catch the 2007 ones specifically. I'm not sure how long that error has been around but I'm glad I caught it anyways!

@@NTxRE the errors have been there since they put in the 2018 recordings, and I don't think they're ever going away. The current recordings just sound off in general though, the female voice is missing several announcements and the chimes are missing on plenty of them as well. The current one is just a poor implementation in my opinion. I really appreciate your recordings of specifically the announcements themselves though, it's not easy to find high quality audio like you have here.

Where’s the part where it plays Folsom Prison Blues?

I know they were experimenting with a new announcement voice, I wonder if they lost that jingle with it. I'll have to visit again and see what ended up happening

I couldn't stay long enough to film it all, but I think some of the cars still had it. I'll need to record them again!

Hi, I know I’m a little bit late to the party on commenting. And I also know that this video has been done about a year ago. So I have one question for you, next time you go to Denver, and you ride the train to baggage claim? Can you do another high-quality recording of the Denver international Airport trains announcement to baggage claim? Mark, I actually like the Oregon sense and the piano jingle ever since I’ve actually been to Denver, Colorado, and it would be interesting to know what the baggage claim organ jingle kind of sounds like. And, I’ll tell you. Last year of December 9 to be exact, we went over to Aspen Colorado, but we flew to Denver. Which was my first flight ever, and. When I first got on the Denver, International Airport trains, we were coming from. C gates area, by the time they said, hold on, we almost fell. Because I didn’t even know they had handrails on the trains, but seats at two end of the train. But, if we could make that happen with the high-quality recordings to baggage claim that would be great if you can. And you have a great rest of your day.

@@NTxRE thank you very much. Just by that I’ve been making a couple of those jingles as my text tone or ringtone. That’s how much I really like it.
