@@christianschoff2490 so youre saying because an asgardian took a frost giant baby the frost giant baby just automatically transformed into an asgardian? That's not how anything works.
You know... it occurs to me that there is another time traveller in Marvel Comics that no one seems to have mentioned. Everyone is thinking Kang, Immortus... but let us not forget that the FIRST time traveller in Marvel Comics had a castle JUST like the one we saw at the end of this episode: Victor von Doom.
The only thing that keeps me from believing this is possible is because they haven't officially introduced the Fantastic Four yet, and I expect Marvel to introduce that family first, but who knows, they could throw us a curve ball (one that I would be pleasantly surprised by, since I think Doom is awesome, and much more than just a FF villain).
I know a lot of people have said that Loki in the future or a version of Loki is responsible for the TVA but I actually think it could be our Loki and Sylvie. Without the TVA they never would've met. They would have just existed in 2 different timelines. I think they created the TVA to ensure they would meet and basically create a loop.
This seems the most likely (i've stated this theory too several times since the episode before this), because when both of them were about to die, it created the most extreme deviating timeline. Though technically we and they could be right at the same time, because if it is Loki and/or Sylvie, it clearly is the 'future' versions of the ones we are currently following. :)
What really gets me is the contrived nature of the blanket scene. They're both descended from frost giants so neither of them actually feels cold at all, and even extreme cold only turns them blue. So they're both just pretending to feel cold in order to get closer to each other. Or Loki is, but Sylvie is going along with it for the same reason. But the fact that the whole thing is contrived is what actually makes what's happening significant.

So the Nexus event was when Loki and Sylvie looked into each other's eyes and thought, "Let's be best buddies"? It's kind of weird to not recognize that the two characters are in love at this point.

They are TELLING us that they are in love, and not just "buddies who will go on wacky adventures". And I find that reactors were 'shipping' Bucky and Sam from a single scene where Sam saving Bucky makes them roll in a field, but Loki asking Sylvie if they can figure out their lives together when this is all over with as he wraps a blanket around her, is in the minds of some, just being pals. I simply don't understand why SO many reactors, who seem to LOVE every second of this show, will STILL at this point, try to deny that these two characters are romantically in love. It's just weird.
@@cartoonerystudios I actually agree for the most part with you, I was just teasing an alternate perspective, because I really think they might have used that 'emotional' moment to fool people into thinking that was what caused the nexus, when it might very well be simply that they were going to die. There's no doubt they are 'hinting' at a romantic relationship, but hinting, and stating it are two vastly different things. Marvel (hell, many movies in general) will lead you to believe one thing, and have it be another, just for the sake of creating a 'twist' in the story (which is a stupid reason to add one in my opinion, but it doesn't stop them from doing it). And technically it could still be three best friends if you include Mobius, going on wacky adventures. I mean the best and generally lasting healthy relationships are created by bonding a friendship that becomes more after all. I too though don't see why there is an issue with accepting it, I mean what's wrong with *self* love? (Mostly I jest, but could there be a metaphor in there for implying that true happiness actually comes from loving yourself? Nah... the writers aren't that smart are they? ;)
@@darkwyve I really appreciate the thoughtful reply. But again, I want to cut through some of the debris and confusion. This isn't about whether Marvel lets Loki and Sylvie be together forever. I actually DO love these actor's chemistry together, and I DO want Loki and Sylvie to be able to stay together into the future of the MCU. (Partly because the MCU has REALLY overdone the "hero sacrifice" and the death of Lokis) But this is about what Marvel has done UP TO THIS POINT. There is NO rational way to see Loki walking over to Sylvie at the end of episode 4, taking her by the shoulders, stammering and hemming and hawing, saying, "This is all new to me", and to think if he hadn't been pruned that he was going to say, "But I really think of you like a little sister". Or a pal. The same with the blanket scene in episode 5. You don't get flustered and stammer, and worry about what you are going to say with a buddy. You don't ask a comrade in a foxhole while at war, if when all of this is over, can you figure your LIVES OUT TOGETHER... unless you are in love with that person in the foxhole. Marvel HINTED that they would fall in love in episode 3 with their "first date" on the train. Denying it at this point is simply weird and something oddly widespread that I'm trying to understand why people are doing it.
@@cartoonerystudios I think we might be approaching the same aspect, but from differing points of view. I don't think the denial and/or lack of acceptance comes from one place or source.
