as someone who used uni pins under copics, mine smudged and i have no idea why or what i should use instead. i left the ink to dry for more than 24 hours as well so i dont know what the problem is, my paper?? i have a 115 lb white paper i used pastels so the smudges are also more obvious but it shouldn't be a problem T_T
The ink in the sketch and ciao should be the same. (I use both.) Have you tried Microns? They work well. I think there is always a risk if you do much rubbing over the black, and some colors do have more of an issue than others from what I have seen. I used micron again this year for a series, and they worked fine with the Copic.
If you test your pens with a colourless blender it's easier to see if the colours run.

to clarify, the marker i used is a RV000 copic ciao 'pale purple' but i see it more as a pastel pink
i believe you used copic sketch in your video? maybe the difference lies there?? i don't really know what else would make sense honestly
