360 excavator operator here, when digging trenches you want to be in line with the middle of the trench start up the top and move down as you go. Spoil placement should be in line with the trench and 2 meters from the trench.
Killdozer was in granby, colorado in 2004, far far away from l.a.maybe what youre thinking of was the literal tank stolen in san diego in 1995

From people that have trained me, you always want your bucket down as you travel on roads. Those are heavy and could tip the equipment or cause a bad accident. I do love watching you play this though, I can't wait until I can play this game!

When you dig, start from the end and move backward so you don’t have to keep moving that much and all you have to do is backup while you dig
That's what I was wondering why he didn't do.. start from the end since its just a line and dig towards you and keep moving backwards in a straight line hehe
You start these games which are awesome and you say you love them and then all of a sudden they just fall to the wayside. Hopefully this one doesn’t.
First if all, you're believing his BS. He gets these games for free and in return he has to say how great the game is. Yeah, he'll say that he's not underany contractual obligation to say he likes a game, but he is. Because if he says anything negative, no more free games.

He was using a tank in LA.. The KillDozer was in Granby, Colorado. You got them a bit mixed up lol.

Great video man! Quick side note, the killdozer incident was in granby, Colorado on June 4, 2004. The driver destroyed city hall and many other buildings before getting stuck.
Please make this a whole series and don't give up on the game it's a lot of fun

Trevor when you dig with backhoe always start form forward trench work back instead moving all around it easier I know how it works I live on farm/ ranch

When you dig a trech, start at one end lined up with and over where you will be digging and put the pile off to the side. Just dig a bit, move, dig more move, etc. Same thing for digging out foundations or other holes.

That trench dig killed me lol ... never thought of starting at the end and reversing your way back down?;)
If you use a dump truck you can sell the soil at the gravel plant for profit whenever you do excavating work.
On turning with tracks, turning right press left track forward and right track backwards at the same time. Turns much faster, and definitely on a dime.
When you picked up the dozer you where supposed to offroad the dozer and that part makes me laughed when you where driving offroad😂😂😂😂

Hey btw it's sort of a big rule to keep your bucket or what have you lowered out of your view instead of raised while driving around. Not that this game needs anymore rules but it is kinda odd to see driving around like that haha

I hope he does more indie and AA games in the future, like Streets of Rage 4, Ori and the Blind Forest, Aragami, Shovel Knights, Guns Gore and Cannoli. There are so many great indie games that could use more exposure. Fairly quick playthroughs that only take a few episodes.
Looking forward to the waterways. Hydraulics and hydrology is awesome.
Also when renting a vehicle.. You dont need drive them back to dealer.. Just got to your vehicle fleet in the menu.. Highlight rented vehicle and press X to automatic return.. Will also save you money

First a semi with flatbed for moving heavy equipment...
Then you want the medium excavator on tracks....
Finally a D4 or D6 Dozer will be plenty big enough for 90%of all jobs...

Track vehicles turn even more on a dime when you reverse one side and forward the other side.
For excavation, you can basically straddle the trench and inch your way back as the more you dig

I’ve run this machine IRL, and in another simulator. The part that doesn’t translate well into the game is the lack of feel. You can’t tell the load on the blade or how hard the machine is working.

Don’t turn in the dozer just back up and dozers don’t like to turn when you push heats up the high drives good video though
You hit that sidewalk be a deduction a dozer will destroy it.
He never tilted the bucket to push the dirt into the trench 🤣🤣 that's why it wasn't pushing dirt and you were just driving up the hill, you've got to tilt & angle the bucket forward until its almost scraping the ground then push it, but also dont want to dig up to much from underneath the piles youbmade

PRO TIP - you can send your rentals back in your vehicle fleet menu, then you are not charged all day,
At 11:39 that is how I drove a backhoe on the road.
