JoonHee made a wrong decision when he went back to the US. He wanted them to runaway, JinAh wants to face it. She said it to JoonHee, she was hurt too when he decided to leave where she was having a hard time. JoonHee is her strength but he left. He chose to leave. I love the ending. Thank you PDnim and Kamdongnim, JTBC too. This is one amazingly beautiful and wonderfully made piece. I will never forget this drama. Kudos to all for their hardwork. I will miss Yoon JinAh and Seo Joon Hee. My fave couple. Too bad, their love story ends here. Nothing to be real. They are good actors. 😍😍😍
JH leaving is completely a out of character move. why would he abandon her, when he himself has told he couldn't live without her. This is a nonsense move for the sake of creating more drama and tension for the viewers! :(

well He did make a Wrong Decision But She is the Wrong one as well With all the Lies and not being Honest With herself Only trying to share Good Moments but not The sad and Bad ones With Her Mom Going ON and ON about him and His sister , This and that He endured it all He was always Open in their relationship but she wasn't. Even Endured all Her dishonesty but There's a Limit to it..thats what made him come to Decision BOTH parties are at Fault here Jin ah In the last 4-5 eps became completely unlikable at some point But I still love her. Whats Criminal is the FACT that It was a Very Rushed ending. EVEN 5-10 Mins after they patched up would have sufficed lot of viewers like me

나의 최애작 명작 난 사실 봄날 은 두 주인공 들에게 푹빠져서 그캐릭터로 보이는게 아니라 아 연기하네 또 키차이 짜리몽땅 이런걸로 비쳐지게 .중간에 포기 하지만 예쁜누나 에서 정해인 은 그냥 서준희 그 자체 였고 예진 과 키도 비주얼 투삿 연기 너무 잘맞고 어울려서 더욱더 깊이 빠져서 보던 나의 명작 드라마 정해인 은 예진 과 함께 할때 더욱더 빛났고 더 사랑스러 웠서요 .서준희 윤진아 는 잊지 못해요 누가 뭐라 해도 나에게 있서 명작 16부 진아의 심정 으로 보다 보면 그냥 최애가 되는 예쁜누나 .
One of my favorite scenes from any TV show ever. Honestly, it just does EVERYTHING perfectly. Their emotions... especially the visible hurt/love Son Ye Jin is showing from 1:03 to 1:30. That final kiss with the music and the rain is what ANY show or movie should strive to achieve. That's true love; with all it's perfect and painful moments, it always creates a beauty that words can't describe if you tried.
Honestly, this drama is too good to be said as disappointing. I personally think this drama is really realistic. We trying the best to everything that we do in life (work, love, study, family, etc), but it wont always go like what we want. Some things are unsolved, but we still alright, we will be alright. Sometimes we just need to let it go things that we cant control or change. What mean to be will meant to be. What should happen, happened. For some maybe cant relate about the separation, but in real life it really happened. Deeply in love then break up then become a stranger then have a new relationship, it happen so fast. Because life is moving forward. I'm grateful for rooting this drama till the end. I will remember this drama for a long long time. For Yejin and Haein thankyou for delivered Jin Ah and Jun Hee character very well. To PDNim, WriterNim, all Actors, Crew and Staff.. How I wish this will never end.. Thankyou.. You all did great 💚
Agree some things are out of control. But it is incredibly lame to write a lovely character like JH as going away from JA when she needs her the most. He won't be able to think of leaving her when he has already realised that he cannot be without her in life. instead of showing a real positive drama where they stand together and be successful, we are simply having some foolish melodrama!!!
Arvind Kumar that's why for me its realistic. No matter how much we love someone, we still be lacking in some way. We dont want to hurt someone that we love, but somehow they'll get hurt. The separation is to see if we are meant to be together then we will. We will forgive and accept. But if we're not meant to be, then it will never work , even if we trying to get back together. But its okay, i guess we only see it in the different way 😊
Yep there are comments how angry towards JH cos he left her but they don’t realize separation is crucial for her growth development. She’s 36 years old woman not a baby. No matter what situation she’s in, her decision is her responsibility. JH’s decision is his responsibility as well. They’re dating not married. JA has been lucky during early eps how JH let go of her inherent inadequacies. Those are hard to overlook but JH did cos he loves her or a fool in love. If I’m JH, I would have dumped JA a long time cos I don’t find JA’s character and family unfavorable. It just so happen that it’s their story. And I can’t have him sad anymore so opt for their happy ending.
Mary Esquivel even a married one cant communicate really well, and responsible as one..hehe~ And yes it also not right if JA always say yes to what JH said or ask. Like how JH keep hide away his anger or worries. When they fight in last eps, its sadden but relieved. Thats how truth feeling finally open up. Like i feel finally he yell at her, finally she tell how her feel about JH decision. Some leave unsatisfied, but still cant let go. Some satisfied but need 1 more eps to seeing JA&JH happiness. Some attached to Jin Ah, some attached to Jun Hee. This is why i think this drama is too good to said as disappointing. Because even until today we keep talking about this drama, even when its already end, its still remain.

I do not disagree with your points on lacking in some way or separation in relationships. but you show a person right handed and then you shouldn't show them as left handed, that just silly writing. I just felt that last 2 episodes suffered to that silly decision. I like how they shout at each other. letting out their emotions etc. realistic. even the getting back to her, is he hears the audio and goes back!!! please, he would hear it everyday in his mind and heart. he wont abandon her, realistically imo. :)
My husband is 5 yrs younger than my age...he was just 20 yrs old and I'm 25 yrs old when we met...at first I asked myself "what am I doing?! 😱" but the rest was history...8 yrs in marriage w/ 2 lovely daughters...being a noona wasn't bad at all ❤ watching this drama really reminds me of our memories .... I still smile remembering it vividly....😊

Something in the Rain is such a beautifully made series that I sometimes wonder if there could be something better.The characters are realistic and the ost(especially La La La by Rachael Yamagata)is comforting.Son Ye Jin’s acting is beautifully perfect.And Jung Hae In’s excellent too.The drama’s direction style and the cinematography really blend in so well together that the overall aesthetic is my style.I love how Geum Bora laughs in this scene.Her laugh is my reaction.This scene is my favourite:the rain,the yellow umbrella,that house and the garden,the emotions of everyone especially Son Ye Jin who showcases her feelings of hurt and happiness in the most enchanting way~

요즘 남배우 시점에서 몰입을 해서 여배우 캐릭터 에 욕하는 분들이 너무 많아요 여배우 들도 다알고 계셔요 제생각은 준희는 도피 한거구 진아는 나이가 35 부모님 직장 법정투쟁 모든걸 다버리고 갈순 없는거죠 진아 미국가면 뭘 하고살죠 준희는 진아 생각은 안한거예요 미국 간다음 진아 연락 거절 철벽 치고 여자 만나고 마음속에 진아가 있서지만 다런여자 3개월 넘기지 못하고 자주 만나고 했죠 진아는 남자 만난적 없서요 3년지나 엄마 소개로 남친 생긴거구 ..제가 볼때 준희는 힘들어서 지쳐서 또 진아가 따라가지 못한걸 끝이라 생각 했고 화와 분노로 살아 왔던것 같아요 그러니 미국에서 3년동안 진아가 행복하지 않아씀 한다고 ..앤딩 에서 준희가 다 잘못했다 고 할때 그뒤가 더 있서씀 했서요 또 알콩달콩 지내는 모습도 더 많이 보여주고 했씀 ..조금 아쉬워요 해후 뒷모습이 .16화 는 영화 한편 보는것 같아요 나의 최애 드라마 명작 준희 진아 재회에서 사랑하게 되어서 너무 좋아요
I haven’t finished this drama but I’m always watching here. And I’m soooo glad they end up together. I dreamt of them last night!! Coz I thought there is no happy ending! Now I can sleep happily. For sure I’m gonna watch this more than once. Thanks to all the cast especially to our Hae In, be more successful in all your drama. To Ye Jin Unnie, I’ve watched your dramas before but this one is my fave. I’m a fan to both of you. Congratulations!!

I first saw Hae In in Blood and he left a mark on me. He was really a good actor. First saw Ye Jin in Personal Taste with Lee Min Ho. These two together is perfect! I couldnt imagine if someone else is paired to Hae In. Ye Jin is playful that suits her character in the story. I love this drama so much and i will always remember this as one of the top recommended Korean drama.
My fav. couple. The story and their acting really left deep emotion in my heart. I'm going to buy an umbrella and waiting for a noona who will buy me food.
So they have three umbrellas right? The red one means they shouldn’t jump in this relationship in 2nd ep. The blue one means they’ve gone too fast for awhile Now the yellow one. Should it mean it’s time to restart really slow and certain :)))
I am so sad that this drama is ending. Although it has it's flaws, this is the most heart-warming, touching, and meaningful drama I have watched as of this year. The couple's chemistry is unbeatable. This is such a beautiful drama and I really admire how much heart the director has put into this. I will be following this director's work from now on. Thank you so much for making this wonderful production!
Free Soul the director did a great job of Expressing and showing the emotion of the actors. Especially when they are happy and enjoying the moments together.
💛✨💜 yeah that's exactly what I felt about the series but the writers really messed up JA's character and character development and made it so inconsistent and unsure. By the end of it I concluded she just didn't deserve Jun Hui who was the best bf imo..so compassionate, loving, understanding and caring and considerate and what not. He showered her with so much love and affection and cared for her with so much deep intensity and did so much for her and even suffered in the end but she barely ever could reciprocate. Also it didn't help that she would lie to him so much and then when he would confront her she would totally gaslight him and turn the situation over to get the upper hand and be all defensive when she needed to apologize. Jun Hui did not wanna meet his estranged father and very understandably so...even if she had good intentions she had no right to cross his personal boundaries to meddle in such a deeply painful subject to him..so she was the one who was so immature to do such a hurtful mistake and then she mocked Jun Hui for being childish which was purely insensitive and immature/inconsiderate on her part. Her trying to justify her actions and making Jun Hui look bad for being hurt by her stupid mistakes was so obnoxious to me uggh. And then we learn that she met his father only for passing on gifts from him to his children which was a lie..wasn't it? Because earlier we see her promising his father that she would tell him bout how his Jun Hui and his sister were doing...so there it is the bad writing and character development! Jin a and Jun Hui's relationship was filled with lies and misunderstandings which could have easily been prevented. Also the mom was abusive af! I'm Indian and hence could see why she was being the way she was but she surely crossed the line always and was a major catalyst in breaking them apart. As an Indian woman, I very well know firsthand how abuse from parents is given the name of responsibility and discipline for the children's own good which is fuckin bullshit and I just felt like shaking up the mother and telling her it's her life and she is old enough to do whatever tf she wants! Being a parent does not give you the right to abuse, destroy and exploit another human's happiness even if that's your own kid. They are an individual entity and asians must understand the concept of personal boundaries!!!!The father should have taken a more stronger stand and should have stopped the mom early on ...also Jin a should have been more assertive with her mom. Lastly if Jin a really loved Jun Hui..she should have gone to him and hugged him and said she was sorry. The least she could have done is said sorry. Both made mistakes but Jin a never realised them whereas Jun Hui said sorry till the last minute and we got an abrupt ending not knowing if the two would introspect and analyse their past mistakes and work on their relationship🤷♀. But Son Ye Jin somehow made Jin A bearable and convincing and even made me feel for all her troubles...i felt like crying when her sexual exploiters schemed against her and she hit rockbottom and was burnout throughout so many times because that's very much how society treats women espcially Asian societies where families try to control your decisions even once you're an adult well over 30. Jun Hui was the star for me. I wonder if guys like him even exist irl. Jung Haein did complete justice to his role and I felt like both him and the character were the same. Despite all it's flaws I really liked the show due to it's heartwrenching emotional impact and the chemistry between the leads..such pure romance💛

나의 최애작 명작 난 사실 봄날 은 두 주인공 들에게 푹빠져서 그캐릭터로 보이는게 아니라 아 연기하네 또 키차이 짜리몽땅 이런걸로 비쳐지게 .중간에 포기 하지만 예쁜누나 에서 정해인 은 그냥 서준희 그 자체 였고 예진 과 키도 비주얼 투삿 연기 너무 잘맞고 어울려서 더욱더 깊이 빠져서 보던 나의 명작 드라마 정해인 은 예진 과 함께 할때 더욱더 빛났고 더 사랑스러 웠서요 .서준희 윤진아 는 잊지 못해요 누가 뭐라 해도 나에게 있서 명작 16부 진아의 심정 으로 보다 보면 그냥 최애가 되는 예쁜누나 .
정해인같은 따뜻한 연하남이면 나도오케이.정해인 비율이좋아서 키도커보이고 멋진긴알았지만 연하남으로 정말 스윗하다

One of my favorite scenes from any TV show ever. Honestly, it just does EVERYTHING perfectly. Their emotions... especially the visible hurt/love Son Ye Jin is showing from 1:03 to 1:30. That final kiss with the music and the rain is what ANY show or movie should strive to achieve. That's true love; with all it's perfect and painful moments, it always creates a beauty that words can't describe if you tried.
Honestly, this drama is too good to be said as disappointing. I personally think this drama is really realistic. We trying the best to everything that we do in life (work, love, study, family, etc), but it wont always go like what we want. Some things are unsolved, but we still alright, we will be alright. Sometimes we just need to let it go things that we cant control or change. What mean to be will meant to be. What should happen, happened.
For some maybe cant relate about the separation, but in real life it really happened. Deeply in love then break up then become a stranger then have a new relationship, it happen so fast. Because life is moving forward. I'm grateful for rooting this drama till the end. I will remember this drama for a long long time.

Agree some things are out of control. But it is incredibly lame to write a lovely character like JH as going away from JA when she needs her the most. He won't be able to think of leaving her when he has already realised that he cannot be without her in life. instead of showing a real positive drama where they stand together and be successful, we are simply having some foolish melodrama!!!
Arvind Kumar that's why for me its realistic. No matter how much we love someone, we still be lacking in some way. We dont want to hurt someone that we love, but somehow they'll get hurt. The separation is to see if we are meant to be together then we will. We will forgive and accept. But if we're not meant to be, then it will never work , even if we trying to get back together. But its okay, i guess we only see it in the different way 😊
Yep there are comments how angry towards JH cos he left her but they don’t realize separation is crucial for her growth development. She’s 36 years old woman not a baby. No matter what situation she’s in, her decision is her responsibility. JH’s decision is his responsibility as well. They’re dating not married. JA has been lucky during early eps how JH let go of her inherent inadequacies. Those are hard to overlook but JH did cos he loves her or a fool in love. If I’m JH, I would have dumped JA a long time cos I don’t find JA’s character and family unfavorable. It just so happen that it’s their story. And I can’t have him sad anymore so opt for their happy ending.
Mary Esquivel even a married one cant communicate really well, and responsible as one..hehe~ And yes it also not right if JA always say yes to what JH said or ask. Like how JH keep hide away his anger or worries. When they fight in last eps, its sadden but relieved. Thats how truth feeling finally open up. Like i feel finally he yell at her, finally she tell how her feel about JH decision.
Some leave unsatisfied, but still cant let go. Some satisfied but need 1 more eps to seeing JA&JH happiness. Some attached to Jin Ah, some attached to Jun Hee. This is why i think this drama is too good to said as disappointing. Because even until today we keep talking about this drama, even when its already end, its still remain.

I do not disagree with your points on lacking in some way or separation in relationships. but you show a person right handed and then you shouldn't show them as left handed, that just silly writing. I just felt that last 2 episodes suffered to that silly decision. I like how they shout at each other. letting out their emotions etc. realistic. even the getting back to her, is he hears the audio and goes back!!! please, he would hear it everyday in his mind and heart. he wont abandon her, realistically imo. :)

Something in the Rain is such a beautifully made series that I sometimes wonder if there could be something better.The characters are realistic and the ost(especially La La La by Rachael Yamagata)is comforting.Son Ye Jin’s acting is beautifully perfect.And Jung Hae In’s excellent too.The drama’s direction style and the cinematography really blend in so well together that the overall aesthetic is my style.I love how Geum Bora laughs in this scene.Her laugh is my reaction.This scene is my favourite:the rain,the yellow umbrella,that house and the garden,the emotions of everyone especially Son Ye Jin who showcases her feelings of hurt and happiness in the most enchanting way~

I haven’t finished this drama but I’m always watching here. And I’m soooo glad they end up together. I dreamt of them last night!! Coz I thought there is no happy ending! Now I can sleep happily. I first saw Hae In in Blood and he left a mark on me. He was really a good actor. First saw Ye Jin in Personal Taste with Lee Min Ho. These two together is perfect! I couldnt imagine if someone else is paired to Hae In. Ye Jin is playful that suits her character in the story. I love this drama so much and i will always remember this as one of the top recommended Korean drama.

I am so sad that this drama is ending. Although it has it's flaws, this is the most heart-warming, touching, and meaningful drama I have watched as of this year. The couple's chemistry is unbeatable. This is such a beautiful drama and I really admire how much heart the director has put into this. I will be following this director's work from now on. Thank you so much for making this wonderful production!
Free Soul the director did a great job of Expressing and showing the emotion of the actors. Especially when they are happy and enjoying the moments together.
💛✨💜 yeah that's exactly what I felt about the series but the writers really messed up JA's character and character development and made it so inconsistent and unsure. By the end of it I concluded she just didn't deserve Jun Hui who was the best bf imo..so compassionate, loving, understanding and caring and considerate and what not. He showered her with so much love and affection and cared for her with so much deep intensity and did so much for her and even suffered in the end but she barely ever could reciprocate. Also it didn't help that she would lie to him so much and then when he would confront her she would totally gaslight him and turn the situation over to get the upper hand and be all defensive when she needed to apologize. Jun Hui did not wanna meet his estranged father and very understandably so...even if she had good intentions she had no right to cross his personal boundaries to meddle in such a deeply painful subject to him..so she was the one who was so immature to do such a hurtful mistake and then she mocked Jun Hui for being childish which was purely insensitive and immature/inconsiderate on her part. Her trying to justify her actions and making Jun Hui look bad for being hurt by her stupid mistakes was so obnoxious to me uggh. And then we learn that she met his father only for passing on gifts from him to his children which was a lie..wasn't it? Because earlier we see her promising his father that she would tell him bout how his Jun Hui and his sister were doing...so there it is the bad writing and character development! Jin a and Jun Hui's relationship was filled with lies and misunderstandings which could have easily been prevented. Also the mom was abusive af! I'm Indian and hence could see why she was being the way she was but she surely crossed the line always and was a major catalyst in breaking them apart. As an Indian woman, I very well know firsthand how abuse from parents is given the name of responsibility and discipline for the children's own good which is fuckin bullshit and I just felt like shaking up the mother and telling her it's her life and she is old enough to do whatever tf she wants! Being a parent does not give you the right to abuse, destroy and exploit another human's happiness even if that's your own kid. They are an individual entity and asians must understand the concept of personal boundaries!!!!The father should have taken a more stronger stand and should have stopped the mom early on ...also Jin a should have been more assertive with her mom. Lastly if Jin a really loved Jun Hui..she should have gone to him and hugged him and said she was sorry. The least she could have done is said sorry. Both made mistakes but Jin a never realised them whereas Jun Hui said sorry till the last minute and we got an abrupt ending not knowing if the two would introspect and analyse their past mistakes and work on their relationship🤷♀. But Son Ye Jin somehow made Jin A bearable and convincing and even made me feel for all her troubles...i felt like crying when her sexual exploiters schemed against her and she hit rockbottom and was burnout throughout so many times because that's very much how society treats women espcially Asian societies where families try to control your decisions even once you're an adult well over 30. Jun Hui was the star for me. I wonder if guys like him even exist irl. Jung Haein did complete justice to his role and I felt like both him and the character were the same. Despite all it's flaws I really liked the show due to it's heartwrenching emotional impact and the chemistry between the leads..such pure romance💛
