I stayed at the Standard in the Meatpacking district NYC at Christmas. I loved it, the views across the river were amazing!

Go live it Bud! I first came to Thailand in Xmas of 2016. I’ve been back here 9 times and I’ve travelled all over this beautiful country. I make sacrifices back home in America to come back here as much as I have and I’ve put plans into place so I can retire here in 14 years.

@@BigCountry70 i agree. I have been coming back to Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore every January for the past five years. My only envy is that my trip is so short, max two and half weeks for each visit. I was with one day i could retire and move back to this part of the world and enjoy its beauty and amazing food.

Terry, how was your stay at the Grand Center Point Terminal 21? Is the room bigger or comparable to the one at The Standard?
Standard was a bugger room and the bathroom much nicer. But both were great
Nice hotel. It is situated close to everything, BTS, supermarket, and local restaurants. How was the breakfast at the hotel?
I didnt have it. Wasnt included and Im not a breakfast guy
Actually there is a way that you can walk through from BTS station on the sky walk to the Mahanakorn building. You don't have to go down on the road.
I know now for next time, thanks, but actually glad because otherwise I would've missed the view and the elephant statue
My friend, the benefit of the hotels that you stay near BTS is they all have walking link from hotel to the BTS level, you don’t have to walk on the street lol carry your heavy things up . The centerpoint hotel. it’s on the second floor of the hotel to get out BTS station
And The Stanndard hotel hotel also have link after you sign out from BTS. so more attention on the sign for your convenience.

Good point I should've mentioned it. The room was booked through Agoda at $180 for the one night I stayed there including taxes and fees.
