1989 Frisco's Return - Frisco Sings "The Right Key"

- Felicia & Colton get something to eat after leaving Scott's office. They talk about what happened. Felicia wants Colton to tell her about the nightmare he had earlier, but he blows it off. They decide they are going to attend the reopening of Duke's. Mouse finds Frisco sitting on the docks. She asks what happened at Scott's. He tells her that it's worse than when he was in prison. Felicia & Colton arrive at Duke's; Frisco arrives. Tony corners him to talk about Domino, but then Terri introduces Frisco. He sings the new song he wrote, "The Right Key." He never takes his off eyes off Felicia as he sings. She tries not to look at him, but can't do it. All rights belong to ABC.

I agree! I analyzed this song on another clip of just the singing and if you listen to the words he says "the world is waiting for a sign from our hearts". Really listen to the words. Jack wrote this song and presented it to GH. He thought it would fit the storyline. I think he wrote it about he and Kristina. They never unlock their eyes and how her breathing changes as he sings is magic. Things were starting to become more serious, I believe. She was as beautiful as he was handsome!
I agree with you whole heartedly this about them JW&KW WHAT THEY MEANT TO EACH OTHER THEY N EVER BROKE EYE CONTACT DURING THE ENTIRE SONG. WOW WOW WOW!!! THEY ARE WONDERFUL TOGETHER!!!

Once she finally looks up when he's singing and they look at one another, she can't look away - and her breathing changes. First time in this whole mess of a story I saw some actual emotion towards him that wasn't anger or irritation. As usual, everyone around him underestimated him when he was determined about something. They all kept saying she's with colton, blah blah blah - but, no, Frisco wasn't going to stop until he really knew there was no chance -
She loves him always and the eye contact and tears are all the proof of there undying love for him! Ugghh hated her with Colton. No one could ever replace F/F

I thought the same thing about Felicia's dress. That was also the night of the dedication of the Frisco Jones Performing Arts Center. In fact, part of the reason she wore it then was because Frisco always liked it!

So, in the storyline, did she know Frisco was going to be there that night? If so, the writers were very clever! She knew what she was doing whether she could or would admit it to herself. If he liked that dress she was trying to get his attention. This video is very intoxicating to me. I have it under my favorites. I watch it from time to time. I have very vivid memories of the original airing!

I had to watch this video again to see. Felicia's red dress is the same exact dress that she wore the night that she discovered that Colton had "killed" Frisco. As I've stated before, I love this song and the chemistry is amazing. I have to say that this moment is most beautiful that Kristina has ever been. Pure perfection in her face!
Seem to recall reading, somewhere, that J liked K in red. Once F&F reunite, we see her wearing stronger colors, red shows up in her apparel, lipstick and nail polish. (She wore a lot of pastels '84-'87.) Years after J&K were divorced, and she appeared with him on Fox11 (LA) because she was going to be on WCTH, she wore a sweater in the same red as this dress. Not sure as to any significance.
Colton was a punching bag ever since Frisco came back.

Although F/KW's expression remains quite consistent throughout the song, her eyes obviously showing emotion, it's the couple instances of just the tiniest hint of a smile that suggest the walls are slowly breaking down.
Throughout the song, Frisco's eyes are locked on Felicia, until he looks away at the end, almost seeming a bit uncomfortable. This is similar to their wedding in '86 when he, once again, almost without blinking, stares into Felicia's eyes until she sheds a few tears, he gets misty-eyed, and finally looks away. Their connection is mesmerizing.
First she had Colton who she said was always there for her... and then she chose Frisco.

I think Felicia just needs to realize that Frisco is going to hold her heart forever..

Frisco and Felicia were together starting in Sept 1984 to June 1987 and married in 1986.Jack left GH in 1987. Colton showed up when Frisco was Presumed Dead 1988.Jack returned as Frisco for 2 more years June89. The FnF/Colton was between Frisco Part 1 and.Part 2 Frisco.
Maxie was born during Frisco.Part 2.

It was obvious with this clip, that when Frisco sang that song to Felecia. She tried to not make contact with Frisco's eyes, but she just couldn't and she was all about Frisco there..She was listening to Frisco's song to her with her heart. Colton knew that too. He saw how Felecia reacted to Frisco's song...

It was like they were trying to make Colton important to the story when they took every opportunity to put Frisco and Felicia together to bring them back together as a couple. This was also about the time they started dating. I remember Jack saying in an interview that while Jack was gone whenever he was off performing in concerts Kristina was backstage so I believe he returned to Gh around the same time she was ready to move forward with a relationship

I will never understand people. Jack and Kristina seem to have the fairytale relationship like Frisco and Felicia. Why could they not make their marriage last. Today they are good friends and i know they still love each other very much, Jacks words. But yet are not together. 😢 will always love them as a couple. Shame they could not get back together. But happy they are still in each others lives. Sad they lost Harrison in 2022. RIP Harrison. 😢

I think they did a lame job with this song. No other instuments, back up singers or anything? His finger kept making the guitar screectch. The lyrics are nice. But it could have had a much better over all presentation. Also, Frisco states he never breaks a promise, but what about his marriage vows? Didn't keep that promise. Please note, that I do like Frisco and Felicia togther. But , seriously how much heartbreak is a girl supposed to endure? 10:05
