I can’t believe I forgot but the watcher by Bella jewel was so good! And i could not put it down. I’m not sure what I loved about it so much it just had that 5 ⭐️ vibe. It’s a romantic suspense! I don’t think I have ever heard anyone talk about it I just randomly came across it last year and picked it up!
I absolutely love thriller movies, so recently decided to start reading thriller books and it’s such a vibe! I absolutely loved verity! I recently read the inmate by freida McFadden and I was loving it until the end. One of my favourite thrillers that I think you will like is daisy darker by Alice feeney. It really gives me the vibes of the movie knives out. I’m sure there are more thrillers, but my mind is going blank. Oh actually no exit by Taylor adams is really good!
I just finished the psychological thriller The Push by Ashley Audrain… it has marriage in trouble intertwined with a tumultuous mother/daughter dynamic!

Bone Cold by Erica Spindler- all of her books have a subplot of romance with an insane twist you never see coming. She’s one of my fave mystery/ thriller authors, a NYT best-selling author and just so happens to be my MIL 😝 They are throw-the-damn-book-across-the-floor good.
These fall more in to murder mystery type, but The Maid by Nita Prose, and All Good People Here by Ashley Flowers were so so good! I think you’ll enjoy them!
Read Dark Matter by Blake Crouch, so good! It is more like a science fiction but with lots of mystery and some thriller components. Also has romance! Love that book so much

I don't know if you have read any Swedish authors at all but we have plenty of thrillers but I would highly recommend Stieg Larsson's Millennium Series about Lisbeth Salander. The first one is called The girl with the dragon tattoo. If you decide to give it a go I will just give a heads up that the first book has a slow start but the story in whole is amazing. Female heroine!

There is this book I read a 1-2 year back and I don't remember anything except that he is a mafia and halfway through the book he gets to know something about her betrayal and he sends her to his beach house to live alone there, although he appoints his security and even a team to check through cctv and give him report through email and she is pregnant though he doesn't know this and one day she gets kidnapped and he gets informed and he tells the kidnapper that she means nothing to him and all but he loves her and later rescues her. Please please help me, i really need this book name and I m really sorry to drop out of context comment but I need the name please help

I agree. Verity wasn’t good at all. There were a couple of inconsistent plot lines and parts of it don’t make sense. I see why ppl who don’t normally read thrillers would like it but if plot lines are your thing… IT’S A NO!
I love everything Daphne Du Maurier wrote. Jamaica Inn is one of my all time faves. Rebecca and My Cousin Rachel were really great reads too. Hoover seems a little watered-down to me.

Try Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware and You by Caroline Kepnes. Both have creepy vibes with the later having a bit of a stalker romance thing going on...
