Recorded during Kylie's performance in Dublin on 8 November 1991, this footage was recovered from the Japan only 1992 LaserDisc release, and is much better in quality than other VHS releases.
I upscaled and cleaned the image using Adobe Premiere to improve visuals on newer devices.

The opening night of this tour was in Plymouth. I was there at the front. My parents surprised me with tickets and it was on my actual birthday. I can still remember that opening so well. Magical night. Magical memories.

SAW were missing a trick by not showing off their artist's live vocals more like this on TV shows. Kylie was/is a great live performer!

A LEGEND WAS BORN
I was 17 when I went to the second date of this tour at Birmingham NEC. I'm now 50 and have since seen her in Manchester 2 and a half times!! 😮 London twice and Glasgow once. I cannot wait for Sheffield next year. Kylie is simply amazing, her performance is out of this World. She is the Ultimate Showgirl.
My first ever concert, I went to Manchester to see this tour. Golden memories.

She’s dancing a lot on this tour
She was a great dancer, She was very skilled with hard choreography. But you can tell with time it stopped feeling authentic to her. Plus, she started to focus more in her vocals in which she is also very underated in tbh.
Honey Lemon Kylie said in an interview that she realized that her show needed to be more about the vocals than the visuals. Dialing down the choreography did wonders for her live shows because it allowed her to do more with her voice. It also allowed her voice to hold up much better over the years.

I LOVE how the show opens with KRAFTWERKS 'The Telephone Call' - BRILLIANT! Let's Get To It is my favourite EVER Kylie album and it's a pity it's her lowest selling album. I wish Kylie would perform more tracks from the mega underrated album.

I saw this concert in Birmingham at the NEC and still the press claimed she couldn't sing. Everyone in the audience was like WHAAAAT! she nailed it- and I have to say her singing technique these days is a little different (she uses head voice a lot so she's not belting) but I wish she still sang the way she did then. Belting in the lower register. She still can it's just she has so many songs now that require her to sing head voice and through the nose. The sound isn't as rich.

I was at the Birmingham show. It was AMAZING! I will never forget that night.
A very different look, good she got a better stylist or realised how she looked then. I do think her voice has iproved so much over the years. But this is such vintage Kylie with brown hair! Something that doesn't seem right is backstage she has long blonde hair. That could not be concealed with the hair she has, so makes me wonder if this has been edited, if so not that good.
She´s so unbelievably cute here....Well, I´m now looking forward to her livestream concert on the 7th of November!

Well.. you know this was when she was in her early 20s! We all can dance better at that age! She was such a good dancer though. Choreography was fab and she really could be a fab dancer!

Apparently the only reason that 5 songs were cut from the setlist was because they wanted it to fit onto a standard 80 minute tape! Saving production costs, basically! Mad to think that decisions like that were pretty normal back then. Certain songs were also edited for this release - Got To Be Certain, Finer Feelings and I Guess I Like It From That (from memory), plus the only part of the show where the music stopped and she talked to the audience for an extended time (immediately prior to Love Train)

Because I bought all the records from her first four PWL albums THIS Kylie is the best Kylie for me and Let's GEt To it is my favourite EVER Kylie album.
Tours then didn't have video screens to rely on. This set was pretty representative of the "B ranking" pop stars of the time (no shade). It was only absolute megastars (with big followings in the US too) like Madonna, Prince, Jackson, Bowie etc. who had the production budgets for elaborate sets. If you look at Whitney Houston's tour from the same year (lots of footage online), her stage set is only marginally more expensive looking.
