God this anime is so good. Just watching this video I've relived the sadness, pride, joy, and more sadness that I experienced while watching it. The shots, music, and voice acting is just so good. They make you feel the tension, they make you feel the excitement. I still remember how tense I was on my first watch through, not knowing if theyll win or lose, but on a 2nd + watch you just get to enjoy the ride. I swear I never get tired of these characters amd watching them play

I dont think it's gonna be as bad as people think it will, people are just being dramatic. I've read the manga. Sure, some things might not make it in but the rest of the tournament doesn't need a 24 episode season and the ending it perfect for a movie.
@@2amCryptid hope youre right cos i when i told a friend who read the manga he said theres like at least a 100 chapters left and thry only covered about 60-70 of them so far. If it was a season and 2 more movies it would be fine but just the two movies and they have no excuse like with promised neverland where kids use guns so it wouldnt "jive so well in the west" where kids shoot up schools

YAY! I’ve been waiting for this one! I do have to say (though I know you don’t watch it), the DUB of this show holds up PHENOMENALLY. Most sports anime dubs just don’t have the soul of the sub, but man the voice actors deliver on this one.
Lots of sports anime develop the rival players, but few do it as often or as well as Haikyuu. Oikawa in particular has so much development he's practically a protagonist of his own sports anime that takes place in the same universe and is crossing over with Haikyuu for this match, it's so good.
I hate to say it, but yeah. His speeches about never giving up and such are literally the only thing that he does well. Now, I'm not trying to say that he's useless, but you know.
I absolutely love the dynamic between Hinata and Kagayama. It's nice to see such a fierce rivalry morph into a strong, healthy friendship with each pushing the other to greater heights, of only so they reach continue having loftier goals to reach. I dare say they've done it better than MHA.

Haikyuu is my top comfort anime i just love everything about it and especially the seijouh battles are my faves, because Oikawa truly feels like such a big Rival, more so than Dateko or Nekoma just because there is a lot of personal stuff going on between Oikawa and Kageyama. kageyama is one of our two main protagonists so this feels like such a tense game. They (Hinata and Kageyama) had no real prior connection to Dateko or Nekoma, but Oikawa is PERSONAL
I loved this so much! I'm so glad this finally came out cos I love Haikyuu so much! I really hope you do eventually get around to doing the other seasons of this. Thank you so much for all your hard work in bringing these to us despite all the copyright and fair use issues that anime studios can bring up.
This video was so awesome. I watched the first 3 seasons at least 3 times but there were still some details I missed. One question tho. When it was voted on Patreon did that only include season 1 or all the seasons?

Well the one who made Haikyuu's soundtrack also did the Soundtrack for My Hero Academia, that is why it's sounds so similar. And I fell sorry that you had to wait month to watch the other half, but that's majority votes for you... I hope you can watch Season 2 together and in terms of views S2 should do way better than the first season as well. And yes wishing for a Win video here is pointless but I just does not have the means to pledge myself to anymore patreons at the moment. Heck if I had the money I would even ask you if I could sponsor a whole anime myself, but since that isn't possible I have to hope that it gets recommended on Patreon or I need to see that I myself do it in the future. Yuki Hayshi really knows how to make a good soundtrack, both this and MHA were composed by him!

One of my all time favorite animes of all time. Love watching it for the action the drama the INTENSITY! KARASUNO...FIGHT!!
