- Today I have my mom and dad coming over with some more donations from my San Antonio family. Of course I have to put them work helping me get organized!

I saw this morning on the news all the donations they are receiving in NC. I think it’s great. They will have supplies for many months to come. They will need supplies for long time. Thank you

I actually think you may need more than one rental truck to move all this stuff in when you consider that there will be so much more to come before you leave on this adventure of helping others. You and Buddy are two very awesome people.

Wow, much more than I expected. You probably will need a big uhaul. I hope you get help in loading, make an assembly line to make it easier on everyone. The best "packer" in the truck others handing up the packages

You all have gotten so much. That is so wonderful. When do you think your taking all the things you have gotten? And where will you travel too? The days are getting colder, I live in Washington State. When you do leave please becareful and have a safe travel. ❤
Just a suggestion for you. If you could pack everything in to a u-haul box truck and get a car hauler to pull your car behind you, you can drop off the stuff, turn in the box truck, and drive home. Or you can rent the box truck, drive it there, turn it in, and then fly home. See what is cheaper for you and go that route. 💖
I hope you get a contact on the other end when you get there, so these donations don’t go into the wrong hands.
Wow that is a lot of stuff. You are doing a good thing. I worry about that sitting out as I would worry about theft

Hi Steph, if you take 40 to Knoxville then get on 81 then 26 you don’t have to go up to Virginia. 26 will take you to Morganton NC. It’s very windy mountainous roads but that’ll save you some time. Just gas up well before getting into the mountains. That was going to be part of my path to Morganton but I can no longer go as planned. I wish you well and will be praying for you.
Talk to someone and get one of the mountain cities to take your supplies to,because the mountain peoples are not getting enough help. Take your supplies to a church would be great spot. Thank the people from morrow hill and Surrounding areas for the great help
I just wanted to say good luck even getting close to the areas that need help. My son drives a semi and we live in Eastern Tennessee and in order for him to get to North Carolina he has to go North to Virginia and get to the only interstate that is accessible to the public and EVERYONE is using it so that the traffic is horrible and there's not a place to stop. He was told to park on the side of the road and that is very dangerous 😳 I am praying for you to be safe 🙏 ❤️

We have 2 big trucks that is going up there. We also got word that they are asking for chainsaws.
Has anyone sent food for animals? I’m sorry I can’t help. 😢But I’m keeping everyone in my prayers 💕🙏 I saw the pet food. Everyone is so wonderful.
I saw someone ask an older gentleman if his electric was on, and he said yes. The other guy said, "Then you don't need a generator." Are they kidding? Yes, they still do. Electric could go off again, or an ice storm/snow storm will be coming, and trusting those weaken trees to not fall on those lines would not be good. They most likely will not have the money to buy one later. The items are donated not just for now but for the hard months to come. Have a safe trip and sending prayers to all those affected in our beautiful mountains 😊
All true. But they're working on a priority bases for the moment. Hopefully as they work thru first response levels, more can be done for all the needs, levels etc.

You could have used one of your friends address's there in NC for the amazon delivery address then all of the items would have been close to where they need to go and would not have had to rent a uhaul.
