- Shine Ibiza at Eden Ibiza was an electrifying trance event that left me spellbound. With legendary trance artists like Paul Van Dyk and Ferry Corsten headlining the night, it was an experience of a lifetime. As a devoted trance enthusiast, this event held immense significance for me.
Trance has always been a major part of my life, and it was one of the driving factors behind my decision to move to Ibiza. I had previously attended iconic trance parties like Cream Ibiza at Amnesia Ibiza and ASOT (A State of Trance) with Armin Van Buuren at Privilege Ibiza. These experiences introduced me to the euphoric and uplifting sounds of trance, creating a profound connection that led me to seek out the genre on the island.
In recent years, the trance scene in Ibiza had somewhat dwindled, with other genres gaining prominence. However, Shine Ibiza emerged as a beacon of hope for trance lovers like me. It stood as the sole bastion of authentic trance experiences on the island, capturing the essence and energy that initially drew me to Ibiza.
As I entered Eden Ibiza, the atmosphere crackled with anticipation. The venue itself was a perfect setting for the night, with its state-of-the-art sound system, pulsating lights, and an energetic crowd eager to lose themselves in the music. The iconic DJ booth loomed large on the stage, ready to unleash a torrent of euphoric beats.
Paul Van Dyk took to the decks, and from the very first note, he commanded the room with his signature sound. The crowd moved as one, their bodies swaying and hands reaching for the heavens as his melodies washed over them. Each track built upon the last, creating a sonic journey that lifted our spirits and united us in a shared trance experience.
Following Paul Van Dyk's unforgettable set, Ferry Corsten stepped up, continuing the night's trance odyssey. Leaving Eden Ibiza that night, I carried with me a renewed sense of belonging and purpose. The memories of Shine Ibiza and the incredible performances by Paul Van Dyk and Ferry Corsten will forever be etched in my mind. I am grateful for the opportunity to have experienced such a profound event, reaffirming my love for trance and solidifying Ibiza as my spiritual home for this captivating genre.

Trance is finally back at its home in Ibiza- it was the best music then in the 1990s and rightly regaining its place in Ibiza, Trance has the nicest happiest crowds too ❤❤❤

The Brits at their best back in the 90s , and of course the best DJs and importantly promoters like Darren Hugh's and Warren Barton from Cream club Liverpool and the birth of the super clubs , serious , nothing like Manumission at privilege these days ! as for a great party , and an old school crowd , Luminosity trance dance fest . in June, Holland , on the coast just down from where the Newcastle ferry pulls in ! 😍😍
i will never forget armin in 2008 at amnesia.. my first night on the island and what a set from him.. 8 hours armin only..

Great video takes me back to the days I used to come over to Ibiza to see Paul and Ferry play at Godskitchen, Cream and Judgement Sundays around 2000/2001. Still loving Trance now even know I'm in my 40's as it happens going to see John Kelly this Friday🤪. Ibiza seems to be so different nowadays totally different vibe.

O.M.G! You know I love your work but now I find you know Corsten and Van Dyk, two of my absolute gods. I'm Kevin & Perry's grandad and even in my old age I'm still a trance maniac and this video was special.
I started visiting the island back in the 90's when the Ibiza sound always had a trance element to it. Over time I went deeper into that trance rabbit hole and I've never come out. I don't know anyone my age who agrees with me or even understands. Maybe I should go back to Cliff Richards and Cilla Black 😂

We had good weather this year which helps. I was using my ticket from 2020 when you know what happened. My third time there after 2018, 2019. I will always recommend it and being on the beach is great if weather is good.

The first image that comes to mind when I hear the word Ibiza is ... Kevin & Perry = trance and that has always the image that springs to me.
Been a huge trance fan for over 20 years and never experienced ibiza yet but that is how I'd want to do it and remember it. More and more big trance nights to live up to the expectations I have for ibiza.
Currently looking to come to the island June 2024 and really hope I can experience ibiza the way I think of the island.

Great sneak peak on some Trance legends and great to see Eden still having great club nights, I remember when the place used to be called Chaos and it was all about the foam parties before renaming and having a complete facelift at the end of the 90s, I have had some great times in there and remember nights such as Judgment Sundays, Retro and Euphoria although Shine looks like it would be right up my street

Best thing about the trance crowds is people are there who genuinely love the music. No posers doing it for the gram stood recording visuals. Can be a 20 year old and a 50 year old next to each other on the dance floor just absolutely having it. Yeh crowds may be smaller but everyone there absolutely loves it.

When I started going to ibiza late 80s and then into the 90s that's probably the trance sound was known then as today's dance music, slightly different beat,but for me some of the best tracks was from the 90s.

Totally agree with Ferry, so much ‘new music’ now being touted as tech or tech house when in essence is trance, I went to Hi last week and saw Cristoph before Prydz, honestly he was absolutely outrageous!! His set was so trancey it was like a throwback!! Best thing I’ve seen for ages 👍🏻🔥
