Nvidia is wildly overvalued. What distinguishes Nvidia's GPUs from its competitors? Software. Nvidia had the foresight to understand that GPUs can be used for parallel processing. Nvidia created a software library (CUDA) that serves as a bridge between an Nvidia GPU and a PC. With that "bridge," deep learning applications can send certain (matrix math) processes to the GPU to be processed in parallel which greatly reduces the time to train a deep neural network. What prevents any other GPU maker from creating a similar bridge for their GPUs? Nothing. I suspect AMD, Intel, and others are creating the needed software bridges to make their GPUs accelerators for Deep NN. Nvidia has a first-mover advantage in AI but it won't last forever.

Sure, here is a comparison of white collar work in 1999 and 2023:
Technology: The biggest difference between white collar work in 1999 and 2023 is the advancement of technology. In 1999, computers were still relatively large and bulky, and the internet was in its early stages. Today, computers are much smaller and more powerful, and the internet is ubiquitous. This has led to a number of changes in the way white collar workers work, including:
Increased collaboration: White collar workers can now collaborate with colleagues and clients from all over the world, thanks to video conferencing and other online tools.
More data-driven decision making: White collar workers now have access to a vast amount of data, which they can use to make more informed decisions.
More automation: Technology has led to the automation of many white collar tasks, which has freed up workers to focus on more creative and strategic work.
Globalization: The world has also become more globalized in the past 24 years. This has led to an increase in the number of white collar jobs that require international collaboration. White collar workers in 2023 need to be able to communicate and work effectively with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
The environment: The environment has also become a more important issue in the past 24 years. This has led to an increase in the number of white collar jobs that focus on sustainability and environmental protection. White collar workers in 2023 need to be aware of the environmental impact of their work and make decisions that are sustainable.
Society: Society has also changed in many ways since 1999. In 1999, women were underrepresented in white collar jobs. Today, women make up nearly half of all white collar workers. The LGBTQ community is also more visible and accepted in the workplace today than it was in 1999. These changes have led to a more diverse and inclusive workplace.
Overall, white collar work has changed significantly in the past 24 years. Technology has advanced, the world has become more globalized, the environment has become a more important issue, and society has become more diverse. These changes have had a profound impact on the way white collar workers work.

It cracks me up listening to the media try and explain AI as if it was another Dot Com craze with them at the end asking when it will stop. Sorry, due to the breakthrough in processor power AI is here to stay and yes will replace many if not all jobs. Our world is changing by the minute now and we need to get ready for the future. SkyNet is here. (not as bad as the movie made it out to be but the same idea). AI is here due to the power of what bitcoins gave us oddly enough. How powerful are the future computers of today? A computer's CPU if programed to count to 1 to 100 would start out as: 1-2-3-4-5 up to 100. Whereas if a GPU to run the same program to count to 1-100 would count 1-100 in one tick.
