Hamburg is like an Echo in the corner of my mind , i visited the great city Hamburg with my once in a lifetime love we stayed for 7 unforgettable days in a small charming lovely privately owned Hotel . I am originally from Berlin , but live in America and ich vermisse Deutschland sehr .
The goose market is really a polished square. It kind of started with a bakery in 1650, 1678 The old Opera was built which was replaced by the Hamburg national theater in 1765 in which Lessing (the statue in the middle) was chief of. In the 19th. century this was the place of the big winter fair „Hamburger Dom“. 1930 in the Deutschlandhaus with UFA-Palace the biggest cinema in Europe existed at that time. So, a lot of history, which can be still felt today. The square has always been a place for civil culture.
Hey, I love your videos. Whenever I get homesick, I just watch your videos! Thank you! Is there any chance that you'd be able to make a video in Barmbek-Nord? I used to live there and would really appreciate it! Again, I love your videos!
Thank you very much! Really appreciate your nice feedback! :) That motivates me to continue. Yes, I’ll put Barmbek-Nord on my long list of future destinations but currently hotels are closed because of the nation wide lockdown and I’m not in Hamburg anymore (but still have some more Hamburg content left for the next few weeks). I’ll probably travel back to Hamburg in early next year when the situation is hopefully getting better again. Please stay tuned and thanks again for your support! :)

If you do not have the consent of all passers-by, this video is illegal! I recommend that you find out about the laws of the country you are visiting in order to be a good and respectful guest.
Thank you for posting your concern in a friendly manner. I have heard about the issue and would like you to take a look at the channels PopTravel and "4K Urban Life". Both of them feature much more walking tours of Germany and are 20-50x the size of my channel. Despite of this, both seem to have not yet run into any trouble. Since I am a licensed Journalist and intensively discussed this topic with a German attorney for media law recently, it should be fine. But to also respect the privacy of every person and vehicle in my videos I developed a solution to blur out faces and number plates during the last 5 weeks. You can see it in action in my most recent video ruclips.net/video/LO-7R7vxTng/видео.html and it is of course also applied to my upcoming video which will release today. It blurs all clearly visible close-up faces that need to be blurred according to my German attorney, if I would not be a Journalist. So faces with masks, sunglasses, from the side or behind are omitted. Vehicle's number plates are also automatically censored. I will re-release all of my past videos (like this one here) during the next few months with my software filter applied to it. I take action and I am respectful compared to the big channels (PopTravel and 4K Urban Life). Please let them also know about this issue since their Germany walking videos are way more popular(Hamburg with 300k+ views for example: ruclips.net/video/dLmeq6hU-5E/видео.html) than mine and they never blur/censor anything.
