The first time I heard this song her voice was sooooooo sooothing. Then when they replaced her vocals with Erykah’s something severely changed and it didn’t sound the same. Jill’s vocals were like warm melted butter melting over notes, whereas Erykah’s were…..contrived to me. I could tell she was trying to imitate Jill’s pocket but she has her own unique sound and therefore it couldn’t quite match it for me. Then I knew they replaced Jill because either her weight or she wasn’t famous yet. But that song would have made her famous back then. Most ppl hear music with their ears not their eyes.
