This is brilliant. When I first went into a Starbucks in Japan, the lady asked me if I wanted whipped cream, which in Japanese is "hoippu kuri-mu." I had no idea what she was saying and I felt so sorry for her. The defeated look in her eye was saying "but, but...this you YOUR language!!!"
Thank you so much for sharing your experience🥰 hehehe you will never forget "hoippu kuri-mu." 😉 I also made a video about ordering at Starbucks! Hope it'll also help you 😆🙌💓
The awkward interaction with an English speaker is every service workers' nightmare in Japan. I need a shirt that says "大丈夫!日本語話せます." On the back it says, "でも、ちょっと待って!"
its been many months since I subscribed to your channel, I am convinced that your channel is very unique that I cant see it like this from everyone else.
Your videos are fun to watch, and it really captures real life situation. Tennai de (dine in) and mochikaeru (to take home) are two very important phrases not just in McDonald's but other eating places! For the size, I faced a challenge when the person did not mention 'esu, emu, eru' but a different word, I think it was 'kodomo' (child) for small size and some other words for regular and large. Also, you can also mention for people who just want the burger ala carte but not the set. I forgot what was the word but i told them ' baga sore dake (そらだけ) it means that's all, and they understood :) Anyway really great video!!
I love your videos you’re so funny And I learn a lot you do a really good job explaining things. I figured out the Coke part. Since the letter L doesn’t exit what you are asking for is a Cola which is pronounced Ko-ra.
I've been living in Japan for a couple months and I just go "これ" "これ" "これ" (Kore) while pointing at what I want, "S サイズ" "M サイズ" (Saizu) if it has the options. To remember "持ち帰り", I just think of that Japanese snack (Mochi) and (Kaeri), which means "go back home".
Great Mac Donalds video. Very helpful and practical. You are a great English visitor. I am going to practice this even Though I don’t eat this food. I went when I was in japan to practice and it was difficult. Thanks
wait i thought they allow you to choose sauces for nuggets only? i can choose sauce for my set? like i never did cause they didnt say anything about it in the first place
wow I been seeing a lot of english loan words in japanese langauge, I believe that is the cause of American occupation in japan for 3 years during the late 1950s. History aside, because of the japanese pronounciation, I have a habit of saying chansu instead of saying chance when I talk to somebody xD.
Oh my thank you very much😅I’m having a hard time ordering here in McDonald Japan🥹this is a really good timing since we’re having lunch in McDonald later with my daughter🎉thank you😊

マクドナルドのハロウィンカマンベール チキンフィレオ!!I could not get used to the Ghost Burger, the Grey Burger, the Black Burger.
Hi great video. How do you say Mcflurry?
it's マックフルーリー!
Love the video. Is there a way to say 15 nugget? Would you say to Itsutsu nuggeto onegaishimasu?
Thank you ☺️
15 = Juugo
you can say …
ナゲットの15こいりおねがいします。
Nagetto no 15ko iri onegaishimasu
I have been to Japan, when they see a customer can't speak Japanese, they show them an English menu, but you can always use Google translate
My love 💕 Japanese 🎉❤🎉🎉🎉
Cute and useful - but how sad to go to McDonalds when you've made it all the way to Japan! XD
I'm going to order the Emu Flies for sure.
i am looking for your video on how to order in Burger King 😊😊.. please give me the link if you already have.
Fore here or to goぐらいはバイトでも言えたほうがいいよね。
If one is hitotsu, what are the other numbers if i want more 😢
I love McDonald's
Is it possible to get ketchup instead of sauce without paying extra?
Yees! I think so! You can ask them ‘kechappu kudasai’ ケチャップください😎
Please let me know how can you a lesson with you 🙏🏼
I am not accepting new students but I will definitely accept next year ☺️🙏💓
You can book a trial lesson from the description when it is available☺️
Why does it translate into “Are you feeling hungry?” When I translate the sentence for “for here” in google translate?
Don't you have those automatic terminals over there?
The French fly. Hahahahaha
wait i thought they allow you to choose sauces for nuggets only? i can choose sauce for my set? like i never did cause they didnt say anything about it in the first place
Hahaha You do interesting videos 😂😂😂
Arigatooo 😂😂❤️
This video is so informative and cute! do they only have cashiers and no screen to order on? o:
Sensei- how can I order a cheeseburger, but with only cheese ? With no toppings?
cheeseburger please = cheeseburger kudasai
only cheese = chi-zu dake
no meat = niku nashi de
👉cheeseburger kudasai. chi-zu dake.niku nashi de. onegaishimasu😌
@@Ninjapanese ありがとうございます😊
You are a good actor, you should be in pictures.
wow! Thank you for saying that 😆hihi
Ill have to tell them no onions when i order a quarter pounder or double cheeseburgers in japanese
They ask if you want fries for the set or edamame for example?
wow I been seeing a lot of english loan words in japanese langauge, I believe that is the cause of American occupation in japan for 3 years during the late 1950s.
History aside, because of the japanese pronounciation, I have a habit of saying chansu instead of saying chance when I talk to somebody xD.
Watching this in the McDonald's parking lot now

Yabaaa😍😍😍
Arigatooooo😘😘😘

One Ep for ordering pearl milk tea please.❤
How would I ask for what type of drink they have?
You can say .. のみものはなにがありますか? donna nomimono ga arimasuka?
Donna : what kind of
Nomimono : drinks
Arimauka ? : do you have ?
Why japanese don't have ketchup?
コンボは朝マックにあって、セットと同じ様な意味だから伝わりそうだけどねw
Love you video. I had a question how do you say "thank you for your time " is it "O jikan arigatōgozaimasu."?
