Kool vid in every aspect. I like how you continue to hunt for that "perfect" sound as you ride. You, my amigo, just gave me a lot of ideas to try as well for my bike! Likewise, I can't afford a Akropv exhaust for my ride, but I like how you mixed it in the end to give it that "movie magic" sound. Great job and Keep doing what you're doing!

Apparently you get the cleanest sound with the gain set between 6 and 10, and the limiter off. Mines on its way, can't wait to mess around with it 👍

Great video. I'm having the same issues. Under the seat, I get this really annoying high pitched sound, maybe even some sort of whistling sound perhaps created by the wind, + all the mechanical noise. If I put it in the backpack, it sounds a little bit muffled.

Good video, don't give up and keep experimenting.
I'm experimenting with the input levels, but I will try the AutoLevel and see if it helps.

Try putting your gain on the H1N a bit lower (5 or 4). You're getting too high sound peaks now (>-6 dB) which results in distortion.
To be honest, I like the sound much better while in the rear seat. The mechanical noise you hear is actually the closest to real life, but you normally don't hear that yourself because of the damping material in your helmet and wind noise. When you put it in the bag, the sound is too muffled in my opinion. You get a lot of low frequency tones, but very little high tones which makes it sound unnatural to me.

There is some clipping in that final version that I honestly never heard until after I posted the video. Wasn't sure if it was from the recorder or some glitch in my software.

In addition to what you wrote: Why is the lo cut set to 120 Hz? Despite a motorcycle engine revs high you still should grab some lower sound waves. Or is there a specific reason?

I use Pinnacle Studio 21 Ultimate. It's an older version of their software but it works well on my older computer.

No, I purchased it at a retail store. Their newest version is version 24. Normally costs $129 US.

At that time I was doing alot of experimenting trying to weed out the background noises I didn't want.
